A fire breaks out in Sweet Apple Acres, mysteriously created out of nowhere. Private and Twilight investigate only to find out that two mysterious dragons have taken roost near Ponyville. They claim to be Spike's long lost parents. As Private and Twilight investigate the real cause of the fire they'll have to face the fact that Spike may want to leave them. Spike is torn, while he grew to love Ponyville, his parents showed him equal love. As the town grows suspicious of Spike he'll have to make a choice. Either leave with parents of his own kind, or stay with the ones who raised him.

I can obviously say that they have not started the fire themselves, as they are a bit to dense to actualy do it themselves. But I would believe they did make the fire torch however. They may be dense in some cases, but they can be smart enough to do that.
I have a strange feeling that something from the past may show up eventualy. From whose past though, that's up for guessing.
Despite all of my treasure hunting expeditions... this is just going to be one of the intresting things to watch

I believe my hunch about the flim flam brothers doing it were right but also wrong. They did set fire to the tree's, but the barn was also set on fire.
That means someone... or something else may have altered the fire to do so. I do not have information for now to prove anything, but that means my conspiracy board will be used more often in this case. Though I am curious about what the Flim-Flam brothers did in the southern mountains, must have been pretty bad for them if they exercise the right to remain silent. For now though, I have an odd feeling that the one Private is searching for may be some pony that he knows... but that's just me musing to myself.
Another great chapter that solves some problems but leads to another, just like how a detective story should be.
