PSS Why NFS Most Wanted 2005 is cover art? Just asking, you should've at least buy (Just suggesting) the Hero's DLC and get the BMV and do some awesome moves, or search it on the internet. Just asking.

I just Google searched "need for speed most wanted", and that was one of the results I liked best. One quick Paint edit later, that was made.
Also, while this does focus on MW 2012, there will be elements from all over the NFS franchise, and maybe even a few familiar locales...
And while knowledge of the places in MW 2012 isn't needed, it enhances the reading, and it's a great game anyway, so go and get it.

As I begin my enjoyment of this Fic, I hope the same terrible fate does not befall this story.

Need for Speed is my second favorite racing series. Considering the first is Burnout, made by Criterion, and the newer Need for Speeds are made by Criterion as well...
So yeah, don't worry about abandonment.
Also, Burnout 3 had the best racing soundtrack ever, and anyone who disagrees is a person with no sense of FAYST

While this isn't doing anything absolutely story wise revolutionary, it is presenting the average devices with acceptable means.
I.E: Show up on new world for no reason, trust is a beverage served quickly for cheap, ect.
Frankly, I have not been disappointed, as clearly someone with competance is writing this.
The only hope I have is that "FML Insurance" company is included somewhere :3

Ford GT! That's more like it! And wow, I think it can be agreed that Fairhaven's police force is very sub par, rivaling that of Palmont's police force in terms of uselessness. Seacrest and Rockport PD would be ashamed.
Now onto the story, things seem to be going swimingly in our "heroes" favor. Hopefully this doesn't go out of hand in terms of him getting so many breaks.
I'm curious if this is going to stay strictly to this guy's POV, or are we ever going to shift to the other ponies? Maybe even additional characters? Only the storys progression shall reveal.
Or if you, good author, are feeling generous in clearing this fog.

Nice car choice mate! For a second I was thinking the car he chose was going to be like a Aston Martin V12 Vanquish or an Audi R8 FSI Quatro, maybe even a Mclaren MP4-12C for the win. But you chose well.

You ever taken the Range Rover on a pursuit in the new Most Wanted? That thing's nearly a frickin' tank. You'll knock cops off the road left and right (though good luck getting away if you crash, like if you're blindsided by a SWAT van)
2521728 Well, no I haven't. Usually I just stick with the Mclaren Mp4, and that thing takes police out from just freakin tapping them if you hit police correct.
Plus, I'm not a big fan of slow police chases, which is why I haven't tried those slower cars.

The pacing was going fine for the police chase, as it had to maintain an air of quick paced danger. Unfortunetly, it still kept going this speed when the two got back to the airfield place, so the latter half of the chapter felt rushed. Don't let my hunting of your soul deter your efforts, take the time.
On the plus side, nice introducing the best friend and mystery Seacrest racer. I ponder as to what may happen in the future relating to these two characters.

I think the seacrest racer may have done that less out of the goodness of his heart, and more that he wanted to get our 'hero' for himself.
That was a sufficient danger, the cops actually cornering our guy in the airfield, his home base. Way too close, I was starting to get concerned there.
My complaint this time around is that I hope this whole debacle this chapter wasn't a waste of time, I.E: It makes future refrence, and doesn't get the status of might as well not exist. Maybe, I dunno, somehow Rarity and Fluttershy trust the guy more, but that's really stretching it, seeing as how they fainted halfway through the chase, and all the guy did was confirm for them as well that he's a very wanted man. Doesn't really clear up things in that his crimes is something they shouldn't be concerned about.
The saving grace is going to be the seacrest guy, if this makes future refrence if they ever do actually communicate.
Maybe perhaps a Land Rover Defender 110 for the troop seats...more seating room.
So what you said about the Raptor reminded me of the trailer for Most Wanted. I figured if the Raptor can't go very fast then it makes a nice ramming type of vehicle from what was shown in the trailer. On a side note: maybe possibly an appearance of Jack from The Run?

Reverse, first gear, second gear, third gear, fourth gear, fifth gear. Let go of the accelerator as you press the clutch pedal to the metal, change to desired gear and be gentle with the gas pedal while releasing the clutch. Not rocket science actually.
Some cars (I'm looking at you Mercedes) have even up to seven or eight gears.

Afterthought: Maybe part of the issue in the lack of content is that you don't know were the story is going ultimately? Does the story end with the girls getting back to Equestria?
Maybe what you need is a story arc. Right now, the fic feels like a normal HiE, just taking place in NFS: Most Wanted 2012.
The problem with normal HiEs is that they go nowhere, and are uninteresting as a result.
For a story arc... how about word gets out that the police have just recieved an expiremental weapon, and what it does is devastating in a chase (Like, blows out all the tires, makes engine components explode, spontaneous evaporation of the gas in the gas tank.)
With this serious hardware working it's way into standard issue for interceptor units, many of the street racers agree that something must be done to get rid of it?
Seriously, I just made this up on the spot. My real point is: Do something. Anything works if you can make it fit snuggly. Just look at that crazy ass story "Human".
