Long ago, before the founding of the country that is today known as Equestria, and the birth of the holiday of Hearthswarming, there was a land. A land where ponies lived in peace and tranquility.
In that land there were five tribes. The Monocerus, a tribe of unicorns who worshiped the goddess of magic: Manora. The Thestral tribe, pegasi who lived above the clouds, maintained the weather, and worshiped the great god Pegasus. The Gaia, earth ponies who worshiped the earth itself, believing it to be sentient. The Armonia, a tribe of all three pony races who worshiped the sun. And finally the Cytgord tribe, another tribe consisting of all the pony races, they worshiped the moon and were nocturnal.
These five tribes all lived in peace. However they were separate, only interacting with each other when it was necessary. They lived in peace but didn’t know harmony. And that would be their downfall.

Months after the defeat of Sombra, they find a secret cavern underneath the kingdom. Sunset's received a notice from Twilight that the portal to Equestria has been acting up. Burst and some of his friends decide to try and help stabilize it. However, things don't go as planned.
