Side Story to The Demesne of the Reluctant Twilight Sparkle

When Doctor Princess Twilight Sparkle got Ponyville and the surrounding lands as her exclusive demesne, she knew it meant changes and stuff. Glittering opportunities. Dire crises. Friendships gained and imperiled. The dawn of a new age for Ponyville. A renaissance of the arts and sciences. A great test of her abilities as a leader and as a friend.

The brewing civil war took her by surprise, on the other claw.

The Princesses and their allies in Canterlot are working to change the laws, disband the new militias and ensure a lasting peace, but they need time. Soon, this cold war of arms and intimidation will heat up, and all the laws and decrees in the world ain't stopping it.

Doctor Princess Twilight Sparkle will buy them time. She will do what it takes to keep her friends, her family, and yes, her demesne safe.

With the help of a handsome griffon security professional—that's me, by the way—a devious illusionist, a ruthless athlete, a bored noble, and a pair of boater-clad con-ponies, she'll stop the damn war herself if she has to.

OC-Centric Story: Winter Gale and Scootaloo share a bunk in the Ponyville Orphanage, unknown to the rest of the CMC; or anyone else in Ponyville, for that matter. Winter hasn't been there as long as her friend, but they're really close, and Winter is wishing for something more. When that doesn't happen, she allows herself down a dark path, leading to spilled blood and damaged friendships.

One morning while she is raising the sun, Celestia allows her thoughts to wander. As they do so, she discovers what she would really like Equestria to be like even though everypony would not be likely to embrace such a world.

Due to a recent string of ponynappings in Manehatten, some of the ponies in Ponyville are considering the cancellation of Nightmare Night for safety. However, this saddens Twilight because she finally came up with a scare tactic for this year's Nightmare Scare that doesn't include Luna. Using her influence, she convinces the town to hold Nightmare Night and allow her to continue her plan.

However things don't go as expected. When Twilight comes back from Whitetail Woods with the foals, Twilight is hyperventilating and scared out of her mind while the foals are mentally broken. The next day, Twilight seems to be the only one to remember anything. Just what in Equestria did she see?

Discord's Fanfic, HANDS OFF!!! THIS MEANS YOU, CELESTIA!!!

Twilight Eris is a hardworking, studious draconequus, working under the wing of Princess Discord. When she finds out about a prophecy that the evil Luna Moon and Celestia Sun will return from the moon/sun respectively, she immediately pleads with Princess Discord to take immediate action.

However, the Princess ignores Twilight's pleas, and sends her to check up on the preparations for the Centennial Chaos Celebration in Draconitown. There she meets five other Draconequii: Pearjack, the deceitful but hardworking farmer. Purple Cake, the grumpy but energetic baker. Scarcity, the hoarder with a knack for creating outfits. Prismatic Sprint, the disloyal but athletic flyer. And Flittermeek, the aggressively antisocial loner with a knack for controlling animals.

Together they ignite the elements of Chaos, and bring back disharmony to Draconia. But what other tricks do Celestia Sun and Luna Moon have up their sleeves?

A long time ago, my family moved to Appleloosa, and we ain't had no luck since. We tried growing apples, but our orchards just never took right. Now, the bank's gonna repossess unless we can get some bits together real fast.

Truly, it could have been any of these factors, or a combination of them, but however it happened, its end result was a strange event so unusual, it changed Ponyville forever.

Twillight prefers to work alone, though is... Sometimes willing to make an exception.

Working too hard is never good for anypony and it can cause even the smartest purple Alicorn princesses to make a few mistakes. Of course, she can always rely on her loyal friend Rainbow Dash to let her know that she's messed up. Much to her displeasure.
