Twilight Sparkle has always been a unicorn of great intellect. She knows what she wants and how she will do it. She finally manages to perform a spell which up until recently as alluded the unicorn up until recently however, Spike who had begrudgingly agreed to be Twilight's test dummy is now left without a clue of who he is and who Twilight Sparkle is. Twilight and Rarity team up to try and jog the young dragons memory before the effect of the spell is permanent.

Hello! So, here it is the start of my very, veeeeery long series my own MLP adventure. I have currently written plots for 400+ episodes spanning a whopping twenty two seasons! First things first, I guess you could call this an AU version of MLP since we aren't starting with the full cast for the moment its simply just Twilight, Rarity and Spike however the other members of the Mane Six will make come into play at a later date. So, as for right now enjoy this first chapter of the first episode of the fiiiiiiirst season!

A long time ago, before Luna's transformation into Nightmare moon, a new citizen was welcomed into Equestria. He was no pony, in fact he was something new altogether. He was what was known as a human. The two sisters welcomed him into their nation, and even befriended him. And for a time, they got along great. Until the nightmares started. The human's mind began to be plagued by horrible nightmares, in which his new friends would put him through terrible torture. After a time he began to see these dreams, not as tormented visions, but as a warning. He began to realize that the nightmares weren't there to hurt him, they were there to save him. And so he gave himself over to them. The two sisters tried to reason with him, telling him that he was sick, but he refused to listen. Retreating into the world of nightmares, this human disappeared, and hasn't been seen or heard of for a long, long time. Until now. And he has changed.

Hello. My name is Anninnicus. Anninnicus Ravenfury... It's a name I came up with on my own, truthfully... My real name is... Chirp.. And that name was given to me by, well... everypony.

It started with my adoptive mother, Lovely Lights. And I suppose my name change never went through, and I also suppose I'm far too lazy to do it again.

It's totally contradictory thinking, yes, bad name, want to change it... and too lazy to change it. That's just how I function. I'm perfectly fine with it, even if I have to cringe every time someone tries to use "Chirp" to refer to me.

I can expect you all are here to hear all the stories of the War, and my... 'excursions' following it's end.

However, I'd rather talk about the most joyful years of my life, as it was only after the war ended that I became even remotely relevant in this world.

Some wished to hide their new powers and forms, while others made quick work abusing them, turning into Equestria's first super villains. The Princesses put out an edict stating that those who wish to fight against these Power Ponies who would do evil would be heavily compensated for their work. It's not until many years later that the first true hero would step up on the city stage, sparking a revolution in Manehattan.

This story was inspired by all the Super Heroes and Super Power shows I grew up with, but after some time creating the world and shaping the characters in it, it became so much more. Twists and turns, changes and escalations await inside the world of Sometimes they call me Super. Our heroes all start out alone and come together to form something that no hero alone could do. Follow the excitement through the eyes of our protagonist and more as they try to defend the city they call home. Welcome to Manehattan.

When Twilight starts blacking out and sees a figure cloaked in darkness she starts wondering who or what he is when she seeks help from Cadence she looses control and almost hurts her, with dark magic no less. Twilight doesn't dare go to Princess Celestia for help, Celestia wouldn't understand so she turns to the pony in her head. When she does, she sign's her soul to the King of Shadows, King Sombra. Her old enemy becomes her teacher and makes her do things to others she never even dreamed about. Twilight has gone off the deep end can her friends save her before it's to late?

The Space Race is considered by most to be the most ambitious undertaking in the history of humankind. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration launched a series of programs that aimed to advance scientific discovery and engineering by leaps and bounds, and push the world into a new age of exploration. It was almost the crowning achievement of our species.

Twilight has dealt with the likes of Nightmare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis, Sombra, Tirek, and even impending doom by snow storm, but she has never dealt with anything even close to what this was.

A psychological terror so great that even Discord would be brought to his knees. She can only hope that she can get out okay.
