Thanks for asking! · 1:06am

Well, I am about ten thousand leagues under the sea of Ask Corny messages that are sitting in my inbox, so I'm going to swim to the top of the sea by answering them!

Balancer asks: Are you still doing Ask Corny?

    ...

Paranova asks: what do you enjoy doing when you're bored/worried/upset stuff like that

Honestly, that all depends on the situation. When I'm bored, I do whatever I stumble across first, which is usually music or ponies. When I'm worried or upset, I pray until I am calm and my thoughts are in order, and afterwards I pony to brighten my mood. It's a routine that works pretty well, and I enjoy it very much.

SirMrDrPwn asked a whole plethora of questions, and on this rare occasion I'm going to answer all of them!

    1) How did you become a brony?

I actually was nagged into the fandom by my oldest friend. And I've never been happier to have been nagged.

    2) Concerning your performance, could you tell us how it goes and how you got to be able to preform?

I will certainly tell you guys how it goes! I actually got the gig through an advertisement on Craig's List, so I was a little wary at first but I put my name down anyway. Then I saw her webpage and got into contact with her and I became convinced.

If you guys want to watch the show, be at the Unity Christian Music Festival at Heritage Landing in Muskegon, Michigan on August 11. I'll be playing on the A stage. I still don't know much else yet, but we're organizing rehearsals now.

    3) Which episode is best episode?

Honestly, I'd have to say "A Canterlot Wedding." I know, my inner hipster is screaming at me, but I'm telling him to shut up. It was amazing. Like watching a short Disney movie. My only complaint is that they crammed what could have been an hour and a half long movie into a 44 minute television time slot.

    Moving onto other bronies!

thelonemississippibrony asks: Have I annoyed you yet? If not, I need to try harder.:pinkiecrazy:

Not yet, no. I still love you :pinkiehappy:

DJ GarV the Expert asks: What is the thing you dislike the most?

    About what?

Well, that's all for tonight! Stay beautiful!

Changed the description for The Artifact. New description fits where I plan to take the story much better. So, here it is. Will likely edit it in the morning when I am mentally competent.

We all have a breaking point. A point we reach where it hurts more to carry on as we are than it does to make the changes we need to make. But, in the darkest places, when everything we've worked for is at stake, how far past that point are we willing to walk?

So, my mom told me about this website where I can publish my own completely original works called Smashwords. The author in me told me to check it out, I did, and I made an account. Here is a link to my Smashwords account. I haven't published anything there, but I can guarantee two things about my stuff there when I do publish something. First and foremost, all of my stories will be as free to read as my stuff here on FIMfiction. Second is that I will not humanize any of my fanfictions. Not even The Artifact, which I actually did plan to humanize at one point. It just wouldn't work out right if I tried that. Anyway, like I said before, I haven't published anything there, but I intend to change that soon. As soon as I finish the next chapter of The Artifact that is. Sorry to everyone who was excited when I announced I was working on the next chapter of A Little Piece of Heaven, but I just couldn't get the inspiration to write that. Hopefully getting to work on The Artifact will change that, but I can't guarantee anything soon. I just don't feel like writing Slice of Life as of late. I will put The Artifact on hold after the next chapter though. If I keep going with that story I'll forget about both A Little Piece of Heaven and If You Hear Me, Let Me Know.

I'd answer my five Ask Corny questions now, but I need to get writing. Until next time!

I'm going to start this blog post by saying that my name is Dylan. It's important for the post.

Today at church, a little girl came up to me and started talking to me. She's four years old. I used to babysit her and her older brother while our moms went to a Bible Study group. Her dad calls her "Alyssa Balyssa" (He's very much a dad). She wanted to give me a similar nickname. She came up with one and wanted to know if she could use it.

Alyssa: "Can I call you Dil-Do?"

    Me:

    Then: No, no you can't.

I'm such a mature role model

So, it looks like I'm going to be playing my first live performance this August. That performance is going to be at the Unity Christian Music Festival in Muskegon Michigan. For those of you who don't know what the Unity Christian Music Festival is, it means the expected audience for the performance is going to be roughly 60,000 people.

    Aww. Yeah.

Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of the artist I'm playing with. She's good, but her stuff just isn't really my style. She's more of a modern pop artist, kind of like Katy Perry, but she doesn't shoot fireworks out of her boobs when she makes a music video. That's a plus. Anyway, if any of you are in the Muskegon area on August 11, come check it out! The artist is Heather Stanley. Check out the link if you want to hear some of her stuff. Like I said, it's not really my style, but why would I turn down the offer to take part in that performance?

EDIT: Alright, it's not usually my kind of music, but Material Things is a great song! Time to convince her to play it at Unity!

So, I've been addicted to Green Day's cover of Working Class Hero by John Lennon. As a rule, I don't like Green Day. At all. I don't hate them, they just don't do it for me. But wow, they did an amazing job covering an amazing song, and in my opinion they did far better than John Lennon did with the original. Don't get me wrong, I like John Lennon's original piece, but...Green Day did their cover...

Still think f**k should have been replaced with descriptive imagery. Would have made for a much better song in my opinion. Anyway, listen to the song, it's awesome.

A working class hero really is something to be.

EDIT: Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osbourne? Your covers of this song suck. Just saying.

Yeah, you know that little tentative schedule I made up a while back? I've decided to ignore it entirely. The problem with it is that there's way too many slice of life stories on it. Don't get me wrong, I love that genre, I'm just getting so bored of it. So before I completely lose interest and fail to write all the stories I promised in their entirety, I'm going to start writing a few adventure stories to mix things up. Worry not, I'll get to all the Scootaloo Dash spinoffs that I promised, and before that I'll get to my Octavia story, and I'll definitely finish A Little Piece of Heaven and even more importantly If You Hear Me, Let Me Know, but before that I need to indulge in some adventure stories. Hence The Artifact and The End of Days. I'm sorry if this disappoints you, but if I don't do it any slice of life stories I do from here on out are going to suck because I won't be able to put any heart into them, and that's not good at all.

Oh, I've got some questions to answer! Best get to it!

Kinky Pie asks: What is the best strategy to use when you can't survive 10,000 PSI of austrailian fists to your face?

Buy a Canadian slave to take the hits, of course!

thelonemississippibrony writes: I have no questions, so I am going ask you a really  bizzare question. Do you love it I am going to rewatch all the episodes. good day.:raritystarry: I will probably never use that again.

cloudmaan24 asks: So did you have a good 4th of July?

    Yes, indeed I did.

Well, that's all for tonight! Until next time!
