So, I've made some minor formatting changes and fixed some grammar and said bookisms in Twilight's List (Edit: and uploaded these changes to fimfiction). I'm still formatting for printing. I found out that blurb is not really that good, ans so am using a different printer (Book1one). The printer used for Flight of the Alicorn is way too expensive unless I can get guaranteed ~40 people buying it. They have super high upfront and pretty low marginal costs, so I'm assuming they're doing something like making plates.
A new cover is in the works too. This one is being made by an actual talented artist, so that will be nice. I'm still learning how to use InDesign, but I think this is going to be pretty professional looking by the time I'm done. Here's the title page.
As for how to buy it. I'm probably going to have a single week I take orders. Paypal will have to include book + shipping for those not picking it up at BronyCon. I'll ship using any service you like (USPS is cheapest), but will need to calculate shipping beforehand. From experience, it's around 12-16 USD to ship something to Europe (unless this book weighs a heck of a lot more than I think). When I *do* start taking orders, that'll probably be it. I don't see how I could ever justify a second printing. I'm still mildly surprised there was any demand for the first.
Status:
Text Formatting: done
Primary Edit Sweep : done
Secondary Edit Sweep: 0/2
PDF Layout: 1/15 (Title Pages and boiler plate, 12 chapters, A/N, cover and flaps)
Cover Art: 0/2 (front and spine/back)
Internal Art: 0/? (if I have time, decent B&W internal pics)
I'll try to concentrate more on this. It was pretty disheartening to get the Blurb formatting done only to find their quality has slipped a lot.
