Canterlot Gardens pics are on their way, folks. And yes, I was there; apparently FimFic ate my blogpost where I said I was departing to the convention. Oh well. Anyway, onwards to the discussion topic.

Typically I sit alone at lunch. Not because I don't have friends, but because the only really interesting people I know are in a different lunch period until semester's end. Don't ask me how that works. Anyway, my dad wanted me to be a little more outgoing, so I obliged and sat at the table of one of my 'friends.' Using quotes because we really hadn't talked to each other since sixth grade, and that was way back when Obama just got into office. So yeah. Nice guy, fun to talk to even if we weren't into the same things... at all. He was like that kid my dad wished he would've had, my friend. Not that I'm implying he isn't fond of me, but trust me when I say there's more friction between us when it comes to hobbies than there ever would be between those two.

Moving on. So I've been sitting at the table for a few days, now, and Jonah, my friend, isn't there, as usual. So I have to sit with his friends. All nice people, again; the upcoming paragraph isn't meant to mark down their intelligence in any way. But it was just one of those moments when you want to shove your face through the lunch table.

"Yeah, I really hated Avatar. In fact, I kind of hate everything made by Jim Cameron, y'know? Too much CGI, not enough story," she said. Which is reasonable; even though I rather liked Avatar and thought the story to be apt, if not terribly original. To each their own, as the saying goes. But then she went on to ask, "Oh my god, have you seen the last Twilight movie? You've got to see it. Like, totally."

All my facehoof.

It's official. I am all out of ideas.

A combination of unpredictable computer access, good editors, and general weariness has rendered my muse mute. I tried, and failed, to write the ultimate confrontation of G&H and it ended up being a disappointment, and ordinarily I'd simply revise it and move on, but I'm just so tired of Guilt and Hate in general now. This isn't me saying the story is dead, though. Guilt and Hate will continue... later. In the meantime, Hiatus begins.

Of course, I do still have some chapters in store... all the way up to TwentyEight. If you like, I can release those once every three days--however, it all leads up to the ultimate cliffhanger. I know how much you all crave new content, so if thirty people all say they want more G&H in the comments below, then I'll release the chapters (by the way, you should probably comment on this post, too, while you're at it). Otherwise, you're going to have to wait until after Christmas to see them--though in the meantime, Envy and Arrogance will be made over completely.

I'm talking character changes, character cuts, character additions, scene cuts, scene additions, theme changes, everything. No holding back. Of course, my dedication to this project means that I likely won't get to writing The Moonlit Dawn, but trust me when I saw that E&A will be so cleaned up it won't matter--it'll be a whole different story. Period. And totally worth a reread.

I sincerely apologize for not being able to finish Guilt and Hate for all of you--I truly, truly do. It took me quite a while to arrive at this conclusion. But, as my writing is a pastime and a hobby, I don't think it fair of myself to consider it an obligation--besides, that would mean worse overall content and a less pleasurable experience for everyone involved.

I will be posting occasional blogs related to either progress on the story (I'll call those Patch Note blogs) or just regular Discussion and Confession posts. However, unless thirty people comment on this post, my page will have little other activity.

Ahem.

So yeah, it's been a while. This chapter would've been out yesterday had Nine not intervened in a different one, hopefully for the better, but eh. Technically after all the TSoML updates you don't deserve a chapter 'till the fall equinox, do ya? So be grateful. At least a little bit.

I can't guarantee consistent updates anymore with the climax rolling along, and all. I mean, I only have to write like... two more? That's it? Woah. Crazy. Considering this whole menagerie started March 10th. Does that mean I'm a dinosaur now?

Anyways, the fight with Vengeance has been written and, as of this blog post, is now being edited. In the meantime, of course, there's another small project that I'd like to announce, possibly: That of an Ask-Guilt Tumblr page. Of course, Denial hasn't guaranteed this--not unless you make him know that it's worth his time. So, for all those who would like this blog to come to fruition and subsequently follow it, please post a comment! We need thirty-one, and since this blog post counts as but one, we need thirty of you to say you'd like to see Guilt in more circumstances than just walking in on Twilight's hospital room!

Also, TSoML will be finished by my birthday. Period, end of story, do not pass go do not collect two hundred bits.

Yeah, so I bombed the Spanish exam I took the hiatus for. Though there were two reasons for that, one of them not completely my fault.

One, I studied the wrong things. Studied a crapton of vocabulary I was never gonna use, and although I had the grammar down pat I found it difficult to connect the two, let alone do the speaking assignments and writing assignments. Didn't even try the reading one, had already walked out of the front door and was headed home. Yeah, I left early. Time is a valuable thing.

Two, and here's where it gets juicy, apparently the school forgot to include the all-important SOPI exam packet in their summer preparation folder. SOPI, if you don't know, is a very complex and challenging three-part speaking test. Or, well, that's how it looked to me when I first glanced at it and said 'AW HAEL NAW' similar to the way some of Denial's relatives would have (Aavie comes to mind ). Soon-to-be inside joke aside, yes, the school dun tripp'ded up and left me no way to be prepared for the most critical part of the exam.

That was about the time I walked out and went home. As I said above, time is a valuable thing. Of course, I doubt, with the way my performance had been going, that I would have passed the exam even had I aced SOPI on its own. I'll keep that in mind for the next time I underestimate a test. Though I suppose it didn't help that I had to devote two hours every night to Lady Deception. Anyway, regular updates will resume on a semi-regular basis, with the next one happening on my birthday, the 27th. (hint hint)

In other news, Part V of TSoML is 2.6k words and I'm still nowhere near the ending. WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME
