My second run was less accurate

I doubt many of you have noticed but Jumper and Lyra's Diary have been placed on Hiatus while I decide what to do with them. Several chapters will be written no matter the eventual outcome and the stories may be handed off to another author to continue, or Matt may be absorbed into Memoirs with me providing writing assistance like I already do with Lyra.

I would like to just clarify that THE EVENTUAL FATE OF JUMPER HAS NOT BEEN DECIDED. I may retain the story and continue after a hiatus... or even write a "not so distant future" story where everyone dies and Matt jumps out (Tech's idea, but I thought it sounded fun.)

What does this mean for the few of you who are reading Foalhood?

Updates... I just need to finish this godforsaken scene with Angel and her dad. I swear I'll get the Maple Leaf Saga done, even if it kills me.

You guys know Angelic Note, my unicorn OC from Foalhood? I just found her in the show... seriously Angelic Note WITH A SINGING PART!

Those of you who haven't discussed Foalhood with me might be unaware of this but Foalhood is set in the past, the characters are roughly Mane 6 age. Which makes me finding Angelic to be a OMG OMG OMG! moment.

I've been looking for ages for armor that resembles Matt's. I've never found anything really close, until now. So let me post several images with notes regarding descriptions. That way we can all see how terrible of a job I've done with describing it.

First the limbs

That's exactly what the arms and more or less what the legs look like. It's almost total coverage but the armor has many gaps, that's the point of the AURA system, to cover what the plates don't. Also the backpack is about the right size. Also no glowy stuff, all the high tech components are beneath the armor.

Actually it's semi-accurate on the torso too, only Matt's torso armor is thick as hell and while thinner near the neck it does reach the base of his neck. Average thickness of the torso armor is 3-5cm (about an inch)

Next the helmet

Rather than all that tubing and rubber looking shit imagine it being solid metal. Painted in a sort of dark blue, black and grey digital camo. Well the grey is where the paint has been burned, cut, scraped and otherwise been damaged. The visor is also a variable tint/reflectivity. It can be a dull non-reflective grey, perfectly reflective, glowing blue, animated display or even transparent.

The bodysuit looks like leather. The only real details it has are what looks like several thin veins running to the limbs, they are how power, data and resonance particles are distributed, as well as a pair of small thin plates on his neck (on either side of the adams apple, they act as anti-garrote protection while only being mildly uncomfortable)

I post slow enough updates as it is, why would I bother torturing you all with a fake chapter?

Which leads me to my serious post which could not be posted yesterday, nobody would have taken it seriously.

I'm thinking about cancelling Jumper.

Matt himself will remain in the universe and I'm more than willing to assist in writing him for authors wanting to use him, but his story would be cancelled.

Why would I post this rather than just telling you all? Because I'm not 100% sure, even if I decide to cancel it I'll still put out 1 or 2 more chapters to create a natural stopping place.

I want your opinions people.  This blog will decide the fate of the story but not of the character.
