I'm going to start a little mini-blog series that follows strange conversations I have on Skype. This will be part 1! It consists of a couple friends I know from Kongregate, one of which debates Applejack's background poniness with me. Needless to say, it's... entertaining?

Still there? Cool. I've been grappling with ideas for what to use in it. I already know I want it to be of the micro category(there's only one other micro clopfic on the site at this moment), and I've been wondering what everyone would want to see. So, to keep things short(like I always do), leave a comment telling me what you've like to see in it. There are a few things that are set in stone: it's going to be micro(duh), and it's going to be a solo. So uh... yeah, leave some comments!

So, like I said earlier, I never expected this fic to earn anywhere near the fame it did. Then again, I was also 99.9% sure it would get rejected on EqD, only for me to be 99.9% wrong.

Overall, the fic earned roughly 600 faves

Earned me 56 followers.

Earned nearly 9k views.

And got a 4-star on EqD.

Honestly, the story was a spoof of Scootaloo being a chicken, so I must ask:

What the fuck is wrong with you people for liking Chickenloo so much, and why is this meme so popular? And an even better question I'll need to ask myself later... why DID I write this?

So, you may be asking yourself. What is good ol' Carmine up to in the month of May? Well, I'll give you a little insight in to what I hope to accomplish in this strange month. Most likely, I'll have the prologue, chapter 1 AND chapter 2 of Static up (still being written and planned). I have a last letter fic I've been working on for a couple days(which I'll be submitting today/tomorrow). And, just 'cause I love you guys, I'm gonna be spending all weekend trying to get chapter 4 of OFD out.

Well, seems like I have a lot planned! I hope you guys all have a wonderful May, yada yada.

The Spectacular and Grand Carmine.

I wrote Scootaloo's Parents more as a joke than anything else. A few of my friends said it was going to get featured, and I hoped so to, but then Samsara, Device_heretic, FanNotaNerd, AND AbsoluteAnonymous all uploaded fics in around the same time as me. SO imagine my surprise when I wake up with 160+ notifications AND my fic is still featured. Quite a shocker.

Not, onto amazing news. Like I said, this was written AS A JOKE. But guess what? I got the acceptance letter from EqD.  Yeah. A slight trollfic I wrote in no time at all, which I also wrote while I was dead-tired, has made EqD with MINIMAL editing.

This made my day, and I hope my fic made yours.

So, over the last week, I've been planning out a fic called 'Static'. I got the idea within 30 seconds of waking up one morning, strangely enough, and I expanded on it.. and lemme tell you, what I have planned for the fic will be nothing short of outstanding. Now, I can't give too many details away, since it's still in planning, and I'm only 25%~ done chapter 1, but the tags will be [romance], [tragedy], [sad], [comedy].

Now, this doesn't deal with relationships being broken up and ponies crying about how their lovelife isn't working and jumping off buildings. It's a pretty deep fic, but yet it's straightforward.

Now, you may ask: 'Oh, great and powerful Carmine, whose fics I ever do love so much, however will you add all those tags to one fic?'

The answer's simple: With skills. Mad skills, to be precise. Not to mention I have an astounding editing team that will be working alongside me as my 'magnum opus', as I'd like to call it, will be written.

Also, if somepony comments saying One Final Day needs to get written, blah blah blah, I will slap you like a filly. Do I make myself clear?

A couple days ago, I shifted my top 3 priority fics to the following: One Final Day, Sweet Tooth, and a brand new fic I just started working on: Party of Two.

Now, Party of Two was a quick idea I got mostly made to poke fun at a popular story... and to piss off one of the mods of the site. But as I gave the storyline out to more people, it was decided that it would actually turn out to be a pretty funny and enthralling fic.

So, without further waiting, have the prologue to PoT: Party of Two!

I've heard a few people comment on how I haven't been updating weekly... yeah, there's sort of a story behind that. The same week I said that, I decided to put my stories in perspective and work in order on a few fics. At the moment I'm (somewhat) working on One Final Day(huzzah!) and Sweet Tooth. Once I finish ST, I'll start working on AToL once again, Pinkie promise.
