Hey there ponyfolks! Here's a group dedicated to canon adventures in Equestria, or adventures that primarily hinge on keeping within the values and feel of the show itself. We invite writers to include their own flair (a little romance, some saucy subjects, some more intense violence scenes and personal characters) but this isn't the place for grimdark, pure clops or sadfics, nor any crossovers. Stories in here should feel like they came from the show itself, perhaps with a target audience above what Hasbro had in mind.
A few simple rules:
No Grimdark
No Sadfic
No Crossovers
No Pure Clop (if you want to include a lovescene somewhere, that's alright, but your story shouldn't be dedicated to it.)
ALL MANE SIX AND NAMED BACKGROUND PONIES MUST SURVIVE. This is rather limiting, I know, but that's exactly the point. the idea behind this group is to promote adventure stories that feel as though they could be placed into the show itself, using canon elements and a few fan creations to bring the age-level and complexity of the story-lines up to a more mature level, but NOT at the cost of the show's charm, or its characters. When all is said and done, much like the show itself, we should be able to tune in next week after your story is complete and see our usual cast of colorful friends up and about like normal. This should have the positive effect of being able to read all the stories in this group in sequence like a season unto itself.

Hello everybody,
I just added Spike the Knight.
It is an action adventure story with Spike as the main character.
Hope you enjoy.
hello, I've been working in my story, and I'd like some opinions, please tell me what do you think...
Equestria's chain of conflicts
Oh sweet; this group is exactly what I was looking for, \m/ (>.<)

I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY new here(just joined today)! I was wondering if there was anybody that could help me come up with ideas for a new story?
Is there anybody willing to give me a hand with a story? Im in an awkward situation i have no typing software such as word is there anybody willing to copy/paste my story from a pm and post it, you can even say its your own story i just wanna share my writing
Minor suggestion, a comedy adventure folder would be a nice touch for this group. And I'm not just saying that because I have a- okay yes fine its because I have a mostly comedy adventure fic.
But still.

Agreed...
So I want to post a fic here... and it doesn't fit any of the folders... (that I know of)... whaaaat do I do then?
OK, is it a good idea to throw in a story in which an OC dies? None of the canon characters bite it, but an OC does?
Quick question: Can I add a Pony on Earth fiction here that will contain the loss of human life?
Oh, so clop scenes are totally fine but death scenes aren't? Yup, not staying in this group...

You left out Alternate Universe (Sunshine and Fire) and and the all important 'Normal' (Observitory Hill).
In all seriousness, there are a ton of stories that could go under this group so some sorting is imperative. I am kind of waiting on adding some for that reason.
The reason for so much Twilight and Luna is I added the best stories that had been submitted to the Adventure catagory in the TwiLuna group. (total of 10 fics yesterday) Today it is a pair of under appreciated Past Sins sequels that have had their ratings trolled.
Descriptions are good too. That said, folders implies categories! What kind of categories would you group adventure stories in? Looking down the group "Stories about Twilight and Luna" and "Stories with characters other than Twilight and Luna" would split it in two xD Though in seriousness, I'd say have categories for Crossovers, Globetrotters (stories with prominent sections set in places other than Equestria), Origins (stories primarily set in the past, usually describing the origins of Equestria, the Princesses, Discord, etc), Dark (stories with graphic violence) and Other.
It is better for stories to be in folders than directly in the group, as then they can be sorted. So make at least one for people to add stories to.
