MainThis a group dedicated to preservation and appreciation of Princess Celestia. And I mean the real Celestia, not those memes based ones or the products of demented minds.
That means any story that is posted here should not be based off any of the memes, so no Tyrant!Celestia, Molestia *washes mouth out*, Trollestia (if it is innocent pranking, like what she does in canon, it's allowed). Any shipfic (with the exception of Discord/Celestia which are not welcomed) should not be a mature rating.
I do want to note that I do not hate Luna, Cadence, or any other Alicorn, I just feel that Celestia is given a bad rap and I want to put together a group that appreciates her for being Celestia. Not a tyrant, not a troll, not a deviant, but kind and loving pony that loves her land and her subjects, and will do anything to protect them.
It's time we do the same, and protect her.
When adding a new story to the archives please add them to the "Main" folder, this will allow the Mods and Myself a chance to sort through any incoming stories.

My case is similar to yours, I didn`t know much about the hatred but I have read enough about it.
I have never seen a character so butchered in the fandom for all the wrong reasons, it makes me sick.

The rule comes from our parent group on DA. I believe it is connected to the whole Trollestia thing and that Discord is a troll, thus a altertive name for the paring is Trollshipping.
Sorry for asking, but I'm curious: Why aren't Celestia/Discord ship fics allowed?

Sorry guys take it to he forum if you wish to talk plushies, and FYI I have the Wal-Mart Rainbow Dash plushy and really the only complaint it should have is the mane and tail are just felt strips. Otherwise they are very well made plushies.

Yep. The mane is the hardest thing to get right. Build A Bear is trying to go for the "real hair" look, which is cool and all, but at least put some curl in Pinkie's!
The main problem is that there's just not enough mane to work with. RD gets one little snip of hair, that's it.
Most of the really good plushies I've seen actually use "minky fabric", whatever the hay that is, instead of actual hair. This adds to the hugability-factor of the plushie, but it also looks pretty cool!
What irks me about all this is that Build A Bear wants upward of $50 for a plush. I'm not sure what the going rate is for a handmade one, but the way I see it, I'd rather spend $100 or so on a well-made plush than half that on one that's... well... lacking.
Good news is, this is all their first attempt. Hopefully, by the time they get to the Princesses, they'll have actually figured out how to produce a quality product at an attractive price.

Still, I don't like how Build-A-Bear does the ponies manes. I swear Pinkie Pie looks more like Pinkamena with it all flopping to one side. Whoever did that Celestia you linked to actually replicated her mane perfectly.
It's like the small plushies Wal-Mart and Target sell. They just don't look right.

I know, right? You see those giant teddy bears and the like at Costco. Hasbro could probably make a decent chunk of change off big plushies.
On the upshot, rumor has it that Build-A-Bear is planning to put out some Celestia-type stuffable ponies. Considering the quality of the already-released Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash models, it would be durable and cuddly. However, given the fanaticism of certain loonies, we probably won't see her till after Luna. And Trixie. And Alicorn Twilight. And... Cadence. Both real and Chrysalis-imposter variants.
Heck, considering how often 'Tia gets the short end of the merchandising stick, we'll probably get a stuffable Shining Armor first!

If it is not a Celesita shipfic then it goes into non-ship fic folder. If it doesn't violate the rules of the group then by all means add it.
I have a question. My fic, Big Bang of 1494, is a ship fic with three main characters, and Celestia is the one who isn't in the ship pairing. Which folder should I submit it to?
Ladies and Gentlecolts I do wish to point out that the adding Discord/Celestia shipping stories is still against the rules of the group. Please refrain from adding any more, I don't particularly like removing stories from the archives but I will enforce the rules.

Also, if Hasbro's actual plushes were this good, they would have an executive office building made of solid gold bricks inside another office building modeled after Canterlot. Giant mountain included. You cannot tell me that there are not a million children or children-at-heart who would not buy these up like hotcakes.

I would like to ask one simple thing though. In the event of major cross-species interaction, IE. a human/group of humans/world's collide scenario, what is the procedure for approaching the throne for negotiations/directions/aid?
It's been one of those things that bugged me, as humans by design are rather strange and good impressions are rather important.
