MainWe've all seen stories where Nightmare Moon is used, once more, as the main villain, or a major villain. But what about the few where Nightmare turns out to be the hero?
The methods are irrelevant. Whether she's a co-ruler who's not liking the tyranical road her sister is taking, or was somehow turned from a monster into a good character, or just a tyrant herself who's working with the Mane 6 to take down a bigger threat, the common theme is that she's in the hero's post, if only temporarily.
Any and all people can post stories here, but please make sure that the post sticks to the idea.

In "The Prince of Egypt" the Pharaoh just wants to be with his brother as family should, but his stubborn pride keeps him firmly within the villain role. That makes him such an interesting character, but even if we pity him, he's still a villain.
The song mirrors that same situation. Luna just wants to be loved by her subjects, but feels her only choice is to do such an act as to keep the night eternal, placing her firmly as a villain. Our hearts goes out to her, but she is still the villain, not the hero we look for in this group.
I thank you for the feedback mate, but I got to keep to the spirit of this group and avoid mixed messages. Sorry.
Please don't take down The Moon Rises. The lyrics might not be heroic, but there's no finer Nightmare Moon song on all the interwebs.
Greetings everyone, I already posted in Message Board that I m searching for help, but I will also ask here.
I m working on 2 stories, where Nigthmare Moon will be good character,.
However I come from Poland and my grammar was alwais my weakpoint, so I would like to ask do there is someone in this group who would like to give up some time in checking my chapters and fixing up my grammar, even small help will be useful.

NOT what is cool at the time or what fit's your personal preference unless you're building what they're doing around the strengths of that character. There are QUITE a few stories that will not ever see the light of day or be seen by other people's eyes because I didn't know that rule until I went over what I had completed.

I have read "Fanfiction Units" and I am sorry to say that, while funny and cute (I now even have it on my favs), this does not really fit the parrameters I am looking for in a Good Nightmare Moon theme.
I will be taking it off later on in the week (To be sure that everyone has a chance to read it if they want).
Edit: "Fanfiction Units" is now gone. To anyone who wanted to read it, you will now need to look it up.
