I'm surprised this is uncommon enough that it needs a group. I've gotten like 2-3 comments so far on Through the Well of Pirene that are basically, "Wow, it's a human going to Equestria story that's about a girl, that's different."

Way too many self-inserts around. By confused pubescent boys.

Hi, everypony!

I have been asking around for someone to proofread and nopony has gotten back to me.

So, hopefully you can.

I`m new to this group and I have written a story from the human girl's perspective and I was wondering if anyone would like to proofread it for me before I put it onto the site. I have written just over 2000 words so it's not that long here is an idea of what the story is about.

Title: Eternal Darkness

Genre: Sad, Adventure

Description: A 19 year old girl sits quietly at her desk writing about her life. The tall, dark tower which she has inhabited is now her permanent home. Her parents are dead and her family are gone, for she is lonely. The air is cold and her eyes are wet with tears as the stars twinkle through the window. Then all of a sudden she finds herself in the one place she could have only dreamed being in: Equestria. She was meeting ponies she had only imagined meeting. And doing things she could never thought possible. After a few years of staying in Equestria she grows into a state of depression and begins to miss the boy she left behind at one of her previous schools. She decides instead of going back to her world, she decides to go back in time.

So that's what the story is about. I hope you can get back to me really soon. If interested please reply immediately as I am leaving on Friday Night for about 5 days and won't have internet access where I am going.

Have any of you heard of Pen Stroke's story Better Living Through Science and Ponies, a crossover with Portal? In the story, a human woman (guess who) and the whole Aperture Science facility travel to Equestria and the human becomes an Earth pony.

My next target is butterscotchsundae of Butterscotch's Adventures in Equestria.

I think a lot of people don't pay attention to groups. There are more Girls in Equestria stories out there, they just haven't found this place yet.
