This is pretty cool.  I noticed that pony tech wasn't very advanced in some areas, but extremely advanced in others.  I was wondering if they could get to the moon.

Flight of the Lunar Sun is the thought experiment that came from that question.

It's a story involving a scientist from a fictional island in the bermuda triangle. A predicted, but unexpected path takes him, his pet dog, and everything he owns straight through a dimensional anamoly into Equestria.

I also go to mention that Science and Magic are somewhat the same.

I just posted a story here on the group called Leaves on the Wind. It's a Firefly-MLP crossover, but it's not so heavy on the Firefly so it won't be too foreign if you've never watched the show. It might even be a good intro for you should you care to watch it.

Regardless, I thought I would let you guys know it's here. I've got 40,000+ words posted now and another 90,000+ in the backlog, and it's only about a third of the way done, if not less. It's going to be a long one, folks!

Hi, I am one of the two co-writers of a story called Darkside Equestria: Redemption and Resurrection. My friend and co-writer is TheNiceOne. We are both beginning authors, and we started the story merely to have some fun with our favorite fandom. It's grown into something we can honestly be proud of, but I feel like we haven't gotten as much constructive critiscism as might be healthy and I was hoping this group might have some to offer.

If you want a story featuring frequent bouts of different types of madness (and not played for lols, this stuff is pretty intense), some pretty good character development, and stories where two ponies from different pasts meet together and try to find their place in the world then this story might be for you! We haven't reached that part of the story yet, but science-fiction technology plays a massive part in the story to come. There is also a nice revenge story going on, and a pretty interesting bad guy that just showed up, so please stop by and have a read!

i have a question. i want to put a story in one of the folders but im not sure which is correct. since there are both ponies ( anthrofied ), humans ( thought its not IN equestria its in space ), aliens, spacebattles and space travel in it. and there seems to be different folders for each of these. i'll put it in " hard scifi" for now :)

Do steampunk and plasma weaponry count?
