MainWhen written well, having Twilight Sparkle either become an alicorn or be genetic royalty makes for a fantastic read. =) Stories put in this group must (obviously) prominently feature Twilight. It helps if one or both princesses are involved as well, but not completely necessary. Enjoy!
Also, stories placed here may have her become an alicorn later in the story, so...SPOILER ALERT, I suppose.
Besides the obvious group theme, I pretty much have just one guideline, and that's to sort any new stories into multiple categories if they apply to more than one! If a category does not exist that you feel should, either leave a message here (I check it often), or send me a private message.

Even if age spells were permanent and actually reversed the affects of age which lead to "death by old age", the rest of the 6 would still die sooner or later from one disease or another.

Hm...something about those age spells seemed temporary (no pun intended). As if she can't actually keep them that age. Even if she "mastered them," the same way the amulet let Trixie, it seems to me that it requires vast power (say, the amulet) to keep it going. Just a theory.

I was so happy about Twilight becoming an alicorn!
I had no idea how to incorporate my story into the main one and her becoming an alicorn made it WAY too easy lol
I approve. I hope they explain it more during the beginning of S4, though.

(And as for oh-no-immortality: during Magic Duel, we saw that Twilight was about this close ⇒||⇐ to mastering age spells. Who says her friends have to get old and die?)

And now we enter the inevitable period in which it's too early for any new Alicorn Twilight fics featuring fresh ideas to be written and we get nothing but cloned out "oh no immortality" sadfics.

I can honestly say I'm not surprised in the least about this turn of events, in the show. But now I really need to figure out hot to incorporate this into the story I'm writing. I'm going to lose s lot of sleep over this, I just know it. Plus I don't think I'll be able to read any other story out there that includes Twilight without visualizing her as an Alicorn. Curse my Imagination.
