A tale of evil, deceit and betrayal.

Icarus, the mayor of Cloudsdale, threatens to shroud Equestria in a thick fog, so thick that it blots out the sun.  What does this mean?  Why is it so important to fill Equestria with fog?  And what part does Rainbow Dash play in his plans?

These are the thoughts that are running through Twilight's mind after Rainbow leaves for Cloudsdale in search of answers. But in Cloudsdale, all is not as it seems - and when Rainbow returns, her friends are in for a nasty shock.

Young Shining Dawn is very excited when she hears that Princess Celestia is coming to visit Ponyville. But for Sweetie Belle, her grandmother, the visit carries much deeper significance, especially when she learns that her old friends Scootaloo and Applebloom are also coming, and that the Princess is here on a very special visit for Grandmother Twilight.

When Applebloom is sick in bed, she asks Applejack to read her a story.  Not having any books to hand, Applejack decides to invent a story for her, in the style of Just So Stories.

After realising that Scootaloo has never been to Cloudsdale, Rainbow takes the filly to the citadel of the pegasi, much to Scootaloo's excitement.
