Octavia and her cello share a special bond, but not one of the usual calibre.  Her cello, unlike others, has a significant characteristic from a long ago time that makes it much more valuable than most realize.

In an attempt to save face, Big Macintosh takes drastic measures to assure his secret stays safe.  However, his actions bring forward a whole new set of deceptions that aren't entirely his own.

We all have secrets.  For some it's nothing more than having an extra scoop of ice cream after dinner, for other's it's something much more morbid and disturbing.  Those who pursue the truth, be warned, sometimes the darkest secrets of certain ponies are best left hidden in the shadows of their silence.

After she is summoned to Canterlot Castle in the dead of night, Twilight Sparkle struggles to figure out the reasoning behind her teachers mysterious request.  However, to her surprise, the Sovereigns motives were much more emotionally touching than she thought, and as a result Twilight is forced to question the veracity of their relationship as student and teacher.

Fate has a cruel way of playing with our lives.  Daintily swinging the prospect of death right above our heads.  In an istant that mysterious entity can decide whether you live or die, and for some the later is hard to accept.  Contentment is a state well sought after, and the road to solace is paved with sorrow and despair.  Only after we walk down that path of torment will we be free... be free to live on, if not physically... spiritually.

The hardest thing we do in life is learn to move on.  The despair of loss can almost be unbearable.  When the fire that warmed our soul subsides and the candle which lit our heart flickers and burns out, leaving a pit of swallowing darkness and sorrow. Remember, that all you need is the memories of the ones you loved, and sometimes… a little adventure.

Through out life we laugh, we cry, we live, we die.  When the time comes to give your final goodbye, will you be ready?  A great man once said "A dying man needs to die, as a sleepy man needs to sleep, and there comes a time when it is wrong, as well as useless, to resist."  And when the time comes to bid adue to your friends/family/lovers will you remember for Auld Lang Syne?
