The mayor position in Ponyville is one of great importance.  Babies need kissing, ribbons need cutting, citizens need pleasing, speeches need delivering, and money?  Oh, yes!  You better believe that's important!  There is only one pony that could take care of all of this, and still take regular vacations, the one and only Mayor.

A first-of-its-kind event, a international race in the skies, comes to Cloudsdale.  Creatures of all shapes and sizes sign up to prove that they are the best flier of the world, including the presumed best in Equestria, Rainbow Dash.  Along with her new-found friend, Swift Flying, both find that the competition is fierce, and while there are some friendly faces, there are also foes, both new and old.  There can only be one winner, but at what lengths will each one go to come out on top?

Derpy isn't your typical pony and as such, doesn't have a typical life.  No matter where she turns, hilarity ensures and on this day, it's certainly no different, except everypony is acting rather strange around her.

A gift from a magician gives the former great and powerful Trixie an opportunity to steal Twilight's magic to renew her traveling magic show.  However, things don't go as expected and the two unicorns switch bodies instead, forcing Trixie to become the Amazing and Wonderful Sparkle, leaving Twilight in a bind.

For Rainbow Dash, the life of a daredevil pegasus has its downsides, and she learns that the hard way after one bad decision leaves her temporarily grounded.  However, it's not her wings that are her biggest concern, but rather something deeper that may be far worse than any physical harm.  To make matters worse, she ends up pushing away her closest friends, so she must start a perilous journey with a new companion, one that may not be ready for what's to come.
