Weevil is a Changeling colt whose family, amongst thousands of others at a time of mass migration, have left peasant life in the Changeling Kingdom behind in search of a better one in Equestria. Now living in the Six Points, a multi-species slum in Lower Manehattan, Weevil does his best to adapt to growing up in the big city, where he is surrounded by an oddball collection of friends and enemies and faces not just the resentment of the embittered majority, but the real, constant threat of vicious gangs that plague the streets.

But through it all, Weevil keeps a level head, an unwavering dedication to his friends and family and their values, and in doing so, will hopefully come out on top from whatever twists and turns life in Manehattan throws at him.

Queen Chrysalis has only one grub that has survived into fillyhood; her daughter, the physically lame and mentally impaired Crown Princess Pupa. Chrysalis has never been what many would call the 'maternal type', even towards Pupa, whose adoration of her mother has no bounds. Preferring to swamp herself in the dire affairs of state, Chrysalis lets her crippled daughter be raised by her affectionate nanny. But one day, as the Changeling Kingdom's problems reach boiling point, the Queen's already short temper irrupts and she must deal with the heartbreaking consequences...

Would you believe Queen Chrysalis has a child of her own? No, she is not a warrior or military tactical genius, nor is she planning to rise against her mother and bring liberty to her people, and she is sure not planning on infiltrating Ponyville to seek acceptance from the ponies anytime soon. Heck, if asked, she probably could not even point out Equestira on the map.

The truth is, Princess Pupa Roachanov, the only child of Queen Chrysalis spends most of her time in the royal gardens, waited on by her nannies and treated with as much delicacy and care as the rarest rose. It's a quiet, meager life, but it's the only one she's ever known and she is content with it.

The only thing she ever really wishes more of is the affection of her mama.

Years into the future, Ponyville is a changing place from how we know it, engulfed by increasing industrialization and organized crime and populated by the grotesques of the Great Gallop Forward Generation. It allows for some seriously bucked up stories to unfurl.

A turf war turning the streets into a battleground.

A contest that brings the worst out of fillies.

A hostage situation involving chickens.

And a mother trying to control her brat of a daughter.

These, my friend, are mere examples of Ponyville's bucked up future.

This is a brief, simple response and personal opinion to all this hullabaloo surrounding Derp/Ditzy Hooves and her new edited voice in MLP, sort of like a self-parody. Here, the changes are noticed in the universe, or more specifically by Twilight alone, leading to an awkward moment.

There is all this argument about how some might find her voice and characterization a bit offensive, and how others, mostly Bronies, would argue it's Censorship and such. It can be understood WHY some people were a bit put off by the first voice of Derpy, even I was a bit iffy, even though I'm not sure if it called for a new voice. But besides, her voice still sounds kind of like Derpy's and her eyes are still a bit wonky. I don't know, but here's the thing, it's NOT that important in the grand scheme of things - I personally think the fanbase is making it a bigger deal than it needs to be. It's Still the same character, after all. There are other real tragedies that are going on out there, you know. It's not the end of the world.

Fluttershy has been hiding a deep dark secret, even from her closest friends, and it threatens to savagely destroy her life. Her friends are the only ones who can save her.
