Fluttershy must come to terms with reality.

Twilight has an accident in the middle of the night that makes her succumb to tears but luckily somepony is there to comfort her in her distress.

Luna creates a small bed of strange magical flowers that when blossomed and spreading their seeds attracts the unwanted attention of perhaps the most ancient and powerful of all alien species in the entire universe, who are now making their way towards Equestria.

Deemed a traitor by the God Empress Celestia, Twilight Sparkle must now flee for her life to escape her inevitable execution. In hot pursuit by Celestia's minions, Twilight discovers a cave where an ancient creature has been kept prisoner for over a millennium.

Everypony is invited to the celestial sisters' grand Christmas Eve party, where Luna's encounter with a mistletoe and a sudden lavender mare causes quite a few risen eyebrows.

Celestia's council is not happy about how Celestia has decided to let Luna stay in Equestria, fearing that Nightmare Moon might return! So one of its chairmans takes action and it is not for the better. This story takes place a short while after the first two episodes. Luna is having problems fitting in and is being hated by almost everypony and Twilight is still very new at the whole friendship thing.

War is approaching Equestria and the Celestial sisters' ponydom is doomed to fall. So Luna and Celestia must travel to the capital of the ponysty ruled by the dark sovereign empress Nightmare Moon, in an attempt to avoid a war that they can never hope to survive. But upon their arrival the empress forces them into a dynastic marriage, or else she'll destroy their ponydom and enslave all of their subjects.

As Twilight Sparkle kept studying about the wonders of friendship, she evidently came across love and romance. And soon after she had been studying these new aspects, she suddenly began to feel a wanting that her friends simply couldn't fill in her heart. So Twilight Sparkle decides to use a shape shifting spell to change her appearance to hide her real identity and travel to Canterlot to find somepony in the city's night life that she could try to have an anonymous romantic moment with. But she wasn't the only mare who had planned exactly the same thing at the exact same day, as the lunar princess had decided to do just the same. So they meet each other by change at a party. Unknown to either of them who the other mare really is and that the shape shifting spell they both use will only last until the first morning sun rise.
