During the time he sorta kinda warms up to the kids show. After the marathon finnishes a doctor comes in to give him the bad news, he's going to have to go into surgery. During the anestatization something strange happens, when James wakes up he finds himself in the magicalworld of Equestria, how will he get back? And better yet, does he want to?

This story is based on the Aviators hit song Applebuckin'. A new colt comes into town, a little confrentation at first. AJ takes the colt in and cleans him up and invites him for a job on the farm. He accepts, but only for work, or so he plans. As the summer progresses, AJ and this colt find there's more than just the summer sun giving off heat. Long ago Equestria relied on a small sacrifice of happiness from each pony. It was a tradition held through the ages, it protected Equestria from evil like Discord. When the tradition stopped the Spell holding the Spirit of chaos was released. To prevent such a travesty again the Pegasai held a meeting in Cloudsdale to discuss what to do. The answer was simple, tradition fades, so the only way to sacrifice the happiness to the skies was to take it forcefully. It's apparently been some other fanfic that Glaze wroe a song about, I didn't know that when I started writing. Anyways here's my version. Not so psychotic Rainbow Dash.
