One day on a trip to the market, Fluttershy discovers that things are getting caught in her tail. What kinds of things? Interesting things. Strange things. Their origins are all questionable at best.

In her youth, Twilight Sparkle discovered a way to infuse technology and magic. 20 years after her breakthrough, she is now the CEO and founder of Sparkle Industries, and one of the wealthiest ponies in Equestria. Her relatively perfect life goes sour, however, when she is captured by a group of griffons who want to steal her technology.

All is well in Ponyville, until a meteor crashes down right in front of Lyra Heartstrings! Emerging from it is the strangest creature Lyra has ever seen, and it only demands one thing: Take me to your leader.

Twilight receives an urgent message from the Princess to meet her, but it comes with something she didn't expect... a bouquet of flowers. With nothing but the words "It's very important!", Twilight sets off for Canterlot.

A strange occurrence happens to one very unique man, and after being contacted by Celestia herself, he finds himself caught in the weirdest week of his life. Only he has the power and ability to save Equestria.

Twilight begins to have strange dreams, filled with shadowy figures and a mysterious key. Fearing that they're connected somehow and trying to send her a message, she starts research on her troubled slumber. Her fears are only confirmed, however, when mysterious creatures begin to attack Ponyville.

Everypony knows of Celestia, the benevolent ruler of Equestria and bringer of the sun. However, things weren't always so peaceful and easy going for the princess. This is the tale of Celestia, and her past.

This was a NaPoWriMo submission, and at 12:00AM October 1st, 23,498 words had been typed. I will continue working on it and updating it. Also, at this point, it's so non-canon it hurts.
