Derpy Hooves is a hard working mailmare, a talented ex-weather pony... and completely in love with thunderclouds. When a season of uncommonly good weather graces Ponyville, she decides to go on a quest to reunite with her absent lover... even if he's simply a mass of water vapor and electrons.

This story uses a version of Derpy from a short story of mine called Dreams of Thunder. While it's not required to read that story before reading this one, any readers who wish to read how Derpy met the Storm can check it out.
