Set in the "Friendship is Optimal" universe, this is a one-shot story examining a throwaway line in one of the last chapters of the original - what happens when an implacable, ruthless and overall efficient Celest-AI meets something which isn't just dead matter, but doesn't qualify as human? This is one possible take on it.

Lord Sapphire lays dead and Tacksworn is in ruins, but Chiphoof Irontail has come home to his adoptive father, Sharptooth the dragon. Amidst the destruction and chaos, the community and the circles of friendship within must rise again to face an uncertain future. The young scion of the Diamond Expanse Clan must now face his greatest threat as the forces of war build to a crescendo. With his friends by his side, together they will uncover forbidden mysteries and face off against ancient powers that have lain dormant for centuries.
How long can it take to learn a simple lesson? A day, a week, a year? What if you are an immortal goddess, charged with the well-being of an entire realm? How difficult can a simple lesson be? Well, how many grains of sand are there in all the beaches in all the world, or how many stars?
Some simple lessons take an age to learn.
This collection of stories is set in an alternative Conversion Bureau timeline where Mankind reigns triumphant, having destroyed Equestria and sent it back into the sea. The only remnants are Celestia's severed head and the now-docile earth ponies that are made from her blood.
As mankind claws itself back from the brink of extinction, it must build a new society and move forwards into the future, with a changed destiny shared now by two sentient life-forms. In this collection, stories will be spun about sacrifice, loss, and nobility of spirit, of two hands and four hooves.

Scootaloo is a small pegasus with big dreams, one of those dreams is to be even more famous than her idol, Rainbow Dash. To get there, though, she needs to do a bit of growing, and first of all she needs to learn how to fly. A new invention from her friend Doctor Whooves may get her there in no time at all, literally before she knows it.

These are the voyages of the... wait, wrong cue card... Ahem. Yes. These are a collection of silly, off-the-hoof stories written whilst bored as a kind of self-hazing experiment gone horribly, horribly wrong.
Some are short, real short, and only one is of any substantial length, but you may enjoy them.
I think they're now complete, until we get new victims... er, pre-readers, who wish to join in.
This is a direct side-story spinoff to "A Twist in the Tail".
Edge used to be human. She used to be a man. Then one day, she was foolish enough to break into a Conversion Bureau to steal some Potion. Believing it all to be a plot to 'scoop out the brains of humans', he downs it. She wakes up as a pegasus pony with an audience with the princesses...
For her crimes, she is sentenced to community service.
This won't end well ;)
A noble earth-pony family, fallen somewhat on hard times, is killed in a mining accident. They leave behind a single male heir, who is in sore need of a guardian, and of protection. Celestia takes the young pony under her wing and delivers him not to ponies - not earth, unicorn or pegasus - but to a dragon, an ambassador, an old friend of hers.
Playing a game which may just be deadly to the uninformed, the dragon decides that the one path open to him to ensure the safety of his charge and to carry out his sworn duty, is to adopt.
Derpy the mail mare delivers a special present for Twilight from Rarity - with such a strange shape, surely it's a horn warmer? She decides to try it on, and go thank her friend for such a generous gift.
Hilarity, as they say, ensues.
NOTE: This is actually rather tame with no real explicit content, but since the theme is rather adult, I've labelled it as teen. it's not what I would call worthy of being mature, but... the little ones probably shouldn't read it. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Edit: Marking "on hiatus" because I think it deserves a continuation.
When conjoined twins seek conversion, things were never going to be simple. Joined together for all of their lives, for Conversion to be successful, they would each have to give up something close to them - their twin.
Note: There is imagery and situations in this story which may squick some viewers. I've written it as an examination of a possible and taken the logical result to its conclusion. I warn you now you may highly dislike where it goes, but give it a shot.
It's probably in need of an editor and could stand to be polished, but I'd rather put this out there than sit on it.
