On one particular month, a wanderer comes to nearly every city in Equestria. He brings with him the concept of a sport that will change the kingdom forever: football, known to the ponies as longball.

One night a human mage decides to travel into the void in search for something that has long been forbidden to him, but instead of answers he finds a purple unicorn in need of help to find her way home. However the universe has a sense of humor, and doubly so when a dark trickster god gets into the game. And so he finds himself forced into a world that is not his own, and a destiny he has little interest in fulfilling. And through all the trials he will have to face there is one question that will haunt his path, and finding the answer may be the only thing that can save him from something locked deep inside a dark corner of his mind.

Matthew and Peter are just two normal bronies. Being forced to go to an isolated cottage in the middle of the forest in an attempt for them to get separated from electronics, the two teenagers are bored out of their minds. However, in the middle of the night, something attracts their attention, leading them to a cave in the deep of the forest, and while they try and explore it, they will find their way into a whole new world that they've been aching to live in for months!
