When Rainbow Dash was a young filly, she enjoyed a strange, but powerful connection to a supposedly legendary being from a distant land, one only achieved in slumber. Unfortunately, as time marched on and the two grew into stronger individuals, the link, in turn, began to grow weaker, eventually disappearing entirely. Of course though, nothing like that is truly lost forever. Now, with both fully grown and fighting on distant battlefields, the connection is reemerging when both need it most. With it, Rainbow Dash will soon learn of a dark conspiracy that will put her element to the test and the fate of everything in her hooves.

My unicorn parents called me a worthless mud pony. They pushed me every day to overcome my lowly status. When I woke up one morning with my cutie mark, I thought they would love me. I couldn’t have been farther from the truth.

It was not destiny or enjoyment that led me to discover the cello and composing. My parents made that decision, deciding before I was born I would continue their family legacy of famous musicians.

They did not realize what that decision would cost them.

"OH!  That would be the Elements of Harmony!  They're the neatest thing!  We each get a jewel necklace--Twilight gets a sparkly tiara--and we used them to defeat Discord and Nightmare Moon with rainbows that go pewpewpew-!"

A clawed glove wrapped over Pinkie Pie's lips, silencing her.

"What does the pink one speak of, pony?"  He demanded of Twilight, who sputtered at his question.  "Do these 'Elements' hold the power to resurrect humanity?"

"I'm... not sure."  She returned, halfheartedly.  "They're pretty powerful..."

"Where are they?"

"In Canterlot, the city on the mountains, but-"

He dropped Pinkie and stomped off, leaving her to flop around her stretched-out lips.  Twilight saw that he was going out the door and in the direction of the city she had mentioned.

"W-wait!  Stop!"  She galloped after him.

The lands of Equestria and Gryphonia are being tainted by pollution from human industrialization. With the gryphons threatening with war, can the ponies keep the peace between them and the humans? With the future of Equestria hanging by a thread, can the ponies and gryphons stand up to a technology that is much more advanced than their own? Or will they be doomed to destruction by the hands of man?

As the second world war kicks off at the end of 1939, Equestria appears in the middle of the Atlantic, dead set on "bringing peace and love to the earth." Axis and Allies are forced to unite in order to defeat a common enemy.

My name is Pink and my entire life has been full of  heartache and misfortune, and none of it has been my fault. These tragedies, these bricks, I've experienced have left me scarred, battered and naked before the reproaching eyes of the world. Its been a long time since I felt I belonged in this land of magic and love we ponies live in, because I can see it for what it really is. The smoke and mirrors were ripped away, revealing the wicked stallion behind the curtain. Equestria isn't the fairytale its made out to be, not for me at least. I see no happy ending for me.

Now, I'm all alone and my mind is shattered and blank and I can't focus on anything but the past. I can't stand this silence any longer, but I can't escape it.  There's a crack in the bricks that make up this room that runs from the middle of the doorframe to the baseboard and its just wide enough to see through.

Hey you, out there in the cold, getting lonely, getting old, would you please just hold me?

We thought we'd seen the last of Celestia, but as a desperate mobile colony on the fringes of known space came to discover, we were wrong.
