Neo Domino City is a war zone.  The mysterious Black King has spread his shadowy influence throughout the once-thriving metropolis.  A small resistance movement is fighting against him, but they can't last much longer without help.

In Equestria, the balance is beginning to shift to the darkness.  Twilight Sparkle and her friends are sent across dimensions to the human realm to discover the source of the imbalance and to repair it.  But she'll discover much more than that, and will eventually learn the true connection between her universe and Yusei's.

This is the sequel to A Pony out of Place Please be sure to read that one first to avoid spoilers.

Set directly after my first fic, A Pony out of Place. Flare Blitz, a Rapidash, turned pony, has opted to stay in Equestria, but things won't be so easy for him. Now a full-fledged pony, he has to earn a Cutie Mark, train with the Princesses, survive a love triangle and Arceus knows what else.

And most importantly... get Twilight to go out with him!

Comet takes his job too seriously. Angel doesn't take anything seriously.

Comet joined to protect kingdom and princess(es). Angel joined for adventure and danger.

Comet isn't interested in mares. Angel can't stop talking about stallions.

Comet is a pegasus. Angel is a bat pony.

Together, this unlikely duo goes through life as Royal Guards from basic training to fully fledged guardsponies. Who knows? Maybe they'll even start to get along.

When the weird new girl Lucy comes to her school and seems to be oddly fixated on her, Jennifer remembers another weird girl from earlier in her life.  The best baby sitter she ever had, and her equally unusual friends.  Penelope, the coolest, funnest (it's a word!), and best friend she ever made, until she suddenly up and left town without warning, never even bothering to so much as send a letter,

(actual ponies of the four legged variety appear in chapter 3!  Sorry it takes so long :x)

Gets a little bloodyish in chapter 12 so I threw the gore tag on to be safe!  It's not really graphic but y'know.

Author's note edit- I noticed a LOT of speculative comments and questions about M material. No, this story will remain E (Well I think T suits it better, it isn't A freaky friday kinda story like originally envisioned, for its length more interesting things will happen.) with only hints at and light swearing/mentions of beer. But no adult themes which take place in present time in this story. It's a drama and a slice of life strictly, expect things like Mary coping with her new body, dealing with neighbors, and learning how to survive in a world she's entirely alone as a pony in. Stuff of that nature.

When Dialga and Palkia start to attack one another in Alamos Town, a Ponyta named Flare Blitz is caught in the crossfire. After falling into the dimensional rift, he finds himself in a strange new land filled with brightly coloured ponies. Flare doesn't know how he got here or if he can even get back home...

The question is, will he even want to go home?

"What happened?"

"What is going on?"

"Why are we Pokémon?"

"Why are we in Equestria?"

So long story short, a brony and pegasister are sent to Equestria as Pokémon and they don't know how it happened or why. Now they must travel through Equestria to either find their way home, or live out the rest of their lives in a new world in new bodies. And only one of these questions will be answered.

"Where is Fluttershy with the cuddles?"

"..."

"Don't look at me like that, I know you want one too."

Probably going to be that one.
