Vinyl Scratch is always up for a good party! But when she partys a bit too hard, even for her standards, she wakes up in a mysterious place with no memories of how she got there, and only the soft sound of Fur Elise to greet her listening ears.

The Mane-Event, a popular stage show in Manehattan, has acquired a rare creature they intend to use as part of a new act. Their typical animal handlers prove inadequate for the new job so they invite Equestria's best to be the caretaker-- Fluttershy. Moving to a new city requires the inconvenience of finding a new place to stay, however. What fortune that Trixie, one of the primary acts of the Mane-Event, just so happens to have free space at her apartment.

And then the Element of Kindness lived with the Element of Egotism.

When Blitz gets a ticket to a Wonderbolts performance for his birthday, he is ecstatic. Unfortunately, he learns they are not all they're cracked up to be when meeting them backstage. Some are just plain tired, others are too busy... except for one: an up-and-coming rookie known as Rainbow Dash. After seeing the colt's despair from being ignored by his lifelong heroes, Rainbow Dash befriends Blitz. But being the Element of Loyalty, she becomes split between a heartbroken colt and her own commitment to her life's dream. Will she make the right choice?

Octavia is a high-class pony. Fine alcohol is her wont, and uncouthness her intense chagrin. Such is her surprise to find herself lumbered with an insufferable oaf of a DJ pony. However, sometimes these situations work themselves into a satisfactory ultimatum all the same.

Fluttershy loves to care for animals, going so far as to help other people care for theirs as well.  But during winter, when they're all snuggled up in their warrens and dens to hibernate, Fluttershy can hardly cope with the boredom.  Always one to try and better herself (in non-physical ways that is) the yellow pegasus begins spending time at Twilight's library, learning as much as she can on... softer subjects.  Finding that she had the capacity for far more love than just Animal care, and never expecting a certain lavender unicorn to occupy her thoughts.
