Two shy mares, close as close...friends...can be, suddenly realize they have feelings for each other, though neither of them can figure out just how to tell the other. Will everything turn out alright in the end? The answer to this question lies somewhere in this story I promised myself I would never write.

When your life is as dull a gray as the world that surrounds you, the mundanities can make it all seem meaningless. Sometimes all we need is a little color -- or six -- to reintroduce us to what truly makes life worth living.
