Luna has a nightmare. A bad one. Images of her past, long forgotten by her, pleague her mind and she awakes in a state of panic. After consulting her sister Celestia about this she realizes what she has to do. Together with her first and best friend Twilight Sparkle she now embarks on a quest. A quest to cleanse Equestria from these last remnants of a nightmare.

A month after her coronation, Twilight Sparkle decides to try out a few new spells.  When an age spell goes wrong, she ends up stuck as an alicorn filly.  While she tries to find a solution to her dilemma, Twilight becomes dependent on Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, who end up as her foalsitters, for better or worse.  And the answer to her problems might well lie with one of Ponyville's most eccentric figures...

King Sombra survived his defeat, but just. By the time he returned to form, Twilight became the newest princess of Equestria and the Crystal Empire was restored to its former glory.

He cannot take over Equestria the same way he tried before, but he has a card up his sleeve. Twilight won't see it coming, and Sombra might gain a powerful ally in the process.

It's a good thing that Rainbow Dash is a pegasus then, when she hears that Pinkie has been sworn to silence by Twilight after hearing yet another secret, she can't help asking about for any loopholes.

It's a simple challenge, all she has to do is spend the day helping Pinkie Pie.

On a dark night filled with even darker magics, an insane cult attempts to give Nightmare Moon a body and life of her own, utterly separate from Princess Luna. But, when the spell is interrupted by Celestia, something unexpected is created.

Now, a little black alicorn filly named Nyx finds herself living under the care of Twilight Sparkle, only to be haunted by memories and emotions from her past. Is she Nightmare Moon reborn or is she simply a doppelganger with a soul and mind of her own? Can Twilight Sparkle protect Nyx from those who refuse to see past her dragon eyes and black coat?

Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

But maybe it's a bit early to congratulate you. After all, whether it's a nobility jealous of your ascension, or a military unhappy with Celestia's decisions; one thing's certain: your reign will be anything but peaceful.

Princess Celestia has been the sole ruler of Equestria for more than a thousand years. Over those years, she gradually drifted apart from those ponies over whom she watched tirelessly. But now that Princess Luna has returned, and has begun to share the burdens of rule that Celestia has had to carry alone for so long, she is forced to come to grips with the isolation and loneliness that she has brought upon herself. Having kept herself distant from her subjects for so long, she turns to the pony whose friendly nature has already helped to save Equestria on multiple occasions for help and comfort.

Two souls seeking company for the night. One no longer wanting to be alone after seeing a few of her friends so happy with a significant other, the other being forced to seek a place to wait out the first train after being kicked out her hostelroom by most of her friends.

Both ending up at a specific bar, was it luck? Perhaps, only time can tell.

A Roselight shipping, why you ask? Because the world could use some more Roseluck (And you know damn well how cute she looks on the banner), and we all know Twilight is best pony =]
