After Twilight discovers a dusty old book detailing trans-dimensional portals used by denizens of ancient Equestria, she learns that one of these portals is right outside Ponyville. But something went wrong with the spell. Instead of a being from a different dimension, she summoned a pegasus who seems more confused by this than her. When she tries to send him back to where he came from, she gets hauled along for the ride. Turns out the portals match their users to the universe they are entering. How will Twilight handle being human?

Before Big Macintosh married Fluttershy, he had a love affair with Cheerilee, who move to Canterlot and bore a daughter, Scarlet Glade.

Scarlet has now grown up, changed her name to Scarlet Gala, and has joined the Royal guard. She is loyal to her job, but still wonders about her father, whom she has never seen, and who is oblivious to her birth.

One day, while on duty, Scarlet sees two fillies in the marketplace, and realizes they are her half-sisters.

Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Rainbow are invited to star in their own TV show, playing as no pony but themselves. They are warned not to read any of the fan fiction, or look at any of the fan art, but the temptation is too great...

Fluttershy pokes about in Rarity's things. And she finds a very strange object whose purpose she thinks she understands.

This story takes place in a real world setting where the characters from the show are young adult humans in their mid to late 20s living in a typical rural American town in the Midwest.

[Cancelled and rebooted] It has been thirty years since Twilight Sparkle gathered the Elements of Harmony and went on her first adventure. Now a certain "John" appears in her library, deciding that she needs a break and sending her back to a "simpler time". Once again, she must stop Nightmare Moon. Only this time... things are different. Details are out of place, added or removed completely. She may not be in the past she remembers at all.

Not all assumptions are malicious, but even the most innocent rumours can be unpleasant, if they actually effect ponies' lives. Rainbow Dash knows this all too well as she tries to confront the stallion of her dreams. A bitter-sweet kind of hilarity ensues when she meets another pony with similar problems.
