The Twidash Project is a series of vignettes and short stories depicting the budding romance between Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash behind the scenes of season two and onward, taking place during, before, and/or shortly after canon episodes.

Concept is based on the The AppleDash Project by bookplayer.  Bookplayer has kindly given her blessing for others to explore the idea with different ships.

When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors, they keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. They’re lying.

She remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?

On what begins as a normal day, Twilight Sparkle receives a letter of a romantic and (very) grammatically incorrect nature. With the help of her friends and a newly-discovered book, Twilight sets out to expose the author of this crime and teach them a lesson in proper grammar. And maybe, just maybe, she'll learn a thing or two about romance along the way.

It's Sisterhooves Social time again. This year, Dash catches wind of two new competitors and gets Spike to bet on the race. When her team is revealed to be a rather famous set of siblings, it looks like poor Spike will be her slave for a week! However, due to a team of masseurs, a minor invasion, unfortunate addictions, and dubious barrel components, victory might not be as near as she thinks...

Quizzical Greystone has just come to Ponyville as an assistant in Friendship Research.  Such a socially inept filly might not be the best pony for the job.  But this just might be the job she  needs.  If you can't make friends in Ponyville can you make friends anywhere?

Fluttershy agrees to help Rarity promote her new fashion line at the first annual Equestrian Fashion Forum in Canterlot.  Alongside Fancy Pants' le petite amie, Fleur de Lis, Fluttershy stumbles onto a plot to ruin Rarity's career.  Will they be able to save her, or will the fabulous fashionista be driven from high society once and for all?
