With the recent premiere of the Equestria Girls movie in Equestria, everyone is overjoyed at its success. Except for Spike, who doesn't like that fact he was the only character to be a dog instead of a human in the movie. Which leads to him calling upon a revolution for change on Equestria. Yeah... things blow out of proportion really fast.

Thanks to Bass21, Linkerman, and LDSocrates for pre-reading it! And thanks to jlm123hi for making the cover image!

“You are hereby invited to the wedding of her royal majesty Princess Celestia of Equestria.”

Strange, as far as Twilight Sparkle was aware, Celestia didn't even have a special somepony let alone a fiancè. Well here's the good news: She doesn't have a special somepony. Bad News: Chrysalis isn't a pony.

What happened between the Goddess of the Sun and the Conduit of the Swarm-mind? Is it just another plot to take over Canterlot, or might there be more under the carapace of the queen than anybody expected? Well, we'll never find out if nobody stops her and Twilight from killing each other first...

Princess Celestia, tired of the constant pressure that ruling a nation puts on her, decides to take a day off and let Luna take her responsibilities for a day, something the younger alicorn is more than happy to do. She disguises herself as a pink maned pegasus pony named Sunny Skies, and decides to go walking around Canterlot without any supervision. Unfortunately for her, not all parts of Canterlot are as safe as the palace, and she finds herself at the wrong end of a gang of muggers, who decide to kidnap her for a ransom when they see how much money she has on her.

    Luna freaks out.

    Celestia thinks it's hilarious.

It happened. Twilight became an alicorn. Her mentor Celestia has never been prouder, her friends are amazed, her daughter Nyx is thrilled to death-- And both Twilight and the government are in a tizzy. By Equestrian law, she is effectively a princess. This is complicated by the fact that she's the adoptive mother of the former Nightmare Moon, and nopony is precisely thrilled at the notion of Nyx being within reach of the throne.

It's further complicated by the fact that Twilight doesn't want to be a princess. She's a scientist! She's a researcher and a scholar of magic, not a ruler. If she takes her throne she'll have to give up the very things that put her on it in the first place--- her research, her beloved books, her home in Ponyville, her ties to her close friends, and if certain factions have their way, her daughter Nyx.

She's going to have to put up one hell of a fight to wrangle a compromise between the life that she wants... and the destiny that somepony else picked for her.

Spike has had it. It's not his fault the library is a shambles. In fact, he tried his very best to save it.

And now he's supposed to take the blame? Not this time! Until Twilight starts to fully appreciate his worth, Spike goes on strike!

I don’t question the “life” bar floating over my head, or my “EXP” gauge, or the little phantasmal boxes that appear whenever I look at an “equippable” object that show its “statistics.” It’s normal for small messages to appear in the sky every now and then, such as [System update in 2 hours.] My kind worships the Developers, higher beings that direct, create, and control everything we see. It’s all normal. This is how things have always been, since I was born. My father, my grandfather, my ancestors have all accepted and coped with these elements.

So why does everything feel so... fake?

My name is Twilight_Sparkle, and I know there’s something wrong here.

The Songbird, protector of the lamb of the flying city of Columbia was thought dead. Though as it would soon discover, his charge was not the only being able to open the mysterious tears. In the forest of this new land, he finds peace with the native animals. However, the urge to protect something, anything, would soon drive him to respond to the cheerful whistling of an equine with a penchant for protecting creatures like him, no matter how foreign they appeared.

No game spoilers, and the chapters that may contain vague spoilers are marked with a *

Contained within are the following characters from Bioshock Infinite: Songbird and the Luteces.

(Please read the description. It is necessary if you have not read the previous installment of the story.)

The Piano Man has spent the last month in captivity, forced to play the piano as part of The Great and Powerful Trixie's traveling show. Now he's free, and recovering under the care of the Equestrian Monarchy, while Trixie awaits trial for her crimes.

He's achieved the ultimate goal of every Brony in history: A life in Eqeustria.

But - as he will learn - recovering from an ordeal such as his takes a lot more time and effort than you would think.

This story is the much better-written sequel to 'The Piano Man'. Because the first story involved some rather dark scenes, I have included a helpful catch-up in the first chapter - so if you have no interest in reading a dark story, then you can ignore the first piece and skip straight ahead to this one.

'The Piano Man: Act II' is most certainly not a dark story, and neither is it sad. The sad tag is in place for scenes in which I reference the previous installment, and nothing else.

The absolutely amazing cover image was created by the even more amazing WIL_I_ZIN, (deviantART) who is just... just awesome, for helping out.

After their breakup in Season 1, the members of the God Squad find themselves at their lowest points. Shining and Cadence are divorced, Celestia and Luna aren't speaking, and Tydal is in self-imposed exile.

But when they, along with Chrysalis, are transported halfway around the globe, they find their good names have been tarnished and everypony believes the worst of them. The five immortals (and one unicorn stallion with more sanity than the five gods put together) must find a way back home and reclaim what is rightfully theirs.

Of course, with pirates, international thieves, communists, flying reindeer, zebra warriors, and door-to-door salesponies all standing in their way, the trip back home will not be easy.

The sequel to the wildly popular fic The God Squad, Season 2 proves that if you keep paying attention to this story the author will never stop milking it.
