Even though MLP:FiM ended a few years ago, my friends and I still loved the show. Stories, merch, fan art, I loved it all. Things started to get a weird though when I found myself with a cutie mark appearing on my leg. Humans aren't supposed to get cutie marks, so where the heck did this come from? And what's going on with my hair?

This was meant to be a short little quirky story, but as I soon found myself engrossed in writing a bigger and bigger story.  It was originally just written for the 'Pony transformation general' community on /mlp/. However, due to the positive feedback from friends, I then decided to post the story here on FimFiction so others could enjoy it.

It should also be noted that the story here has been slightly modified version from the original. The story you see here has been fully reedited and 'cleaned up' to fit the standards of a "Teen" rating here on FimFic. If you wish to up the ante and read the mature version of the story, you may do so on the Google Doc here. Feel free to switch between either story version whenever you like, as the main story line between the two versions is identical.

There is a shadow to all of existence, a place that all worlds are shielded from by a thin veil. A Dark Place, where a single presence plots and struggles to consume all creation with its darkness. The author Alan Wake is one who has defeated this Dark Presence, but to save his wife and his world Alan had to remain trapped in the darkness.

Now, through his struggles to return to his wife, Alan has unintentionally released the Darkness and an old villain upon Equestria. To fix the mistake, Alan starts a new story with Twilight Sparkle as the protagonist. Can the unicorn find the strength to face the darkness, or is all of Equestria doomed to be the victim in the dreadful horror story?

Note: Story assumes no preceding knowledge of the game Alan Wake. Written for any MLP:FiM fan to enjoy.

Gai'vahros, a highly accomplished adventurer and blood knight of the army of Silvermoon, finds out that there's more ways to enjoy life that isn't adventuring, killing blindly by the orders of others, be they critters, monsters, or other people. As he is tossed from one world to another, the elf begins to understand the value of peace, trust, loyalty, and devotion. But most importantly of all, he learns of an ideal that he has not seen in a long time; the magic of friendship.

Worker's dreams have taken a turn for the worse. Feeling trapped, unable to talk about his experiences and unable to stop the near-nightly terrors, he wonders if he should reach out to the Princesses. It never occurs to him that these nightmares might be something more.

This is the final story of a trilogy. The first part is Order from Chaos, and the second is called Justice.

Following the declaration of peace between Equestria and T'rahk Enox, the great changeling nation extended its reach to the other races. Though the gryphons quickly agreed to the treaty of peace, the black dragons of the north responded with anger.
