After being rejected by Rarity, Spike falls into a state of depression. There he becomes friends with an unlikely pony, Diamond Tiara. As they become better friends, Spike finds himself drawn to Diamond Tiara in more sinister ways.

Since the exile from Ponyville and the other ponies catching on to her act and doubting her, Trixie lost everything she had and was forced to take refuge in the Everfree Forest, but will anyone come for her and offer her a hoof, or will she be all alone?

And more importantly, would it be one of the ponies who she had humiliated not too long before?

A changeling, small and injured, is found by Fluttershy behind her house. It can't speak thanks to it's injuries. Where did it come from? Who or what injured it so badly? What will she do with it now?

Rainbow has a crush, and Rarity seems to be the only one who wasn't informed. As she searches for the identity of Rainbow Dash's new love interest, Rarity questions whether or not her conclusions are based on reality... or on what she wishes were true.

After her face and body are permanently scarred, Rarity seals herself off in her room with the lights off and drapes drawn, too disgusted by her own appearance to be seen. The only comfort she has comes in the form of daily visits from Spike, though she keeps the room dark to hide her deformities from the baby dragon. Can he convince her that she has nothing to fear; that her beauty is not limited to what she looks like?

Spike has grown into a handsome young drake and has found the confidence to ask Rarity out at last. But even the best-laid plans can go awry, and life rains on Spike's parade, until he learns first-hand that every storm, no matter how bad, has a silver lining to it.

One day, Spike finally gets the courage together to ask Rarity out. When he finally goes to ask her, he sees something in the window that quickly shoots down that entire idea. After it happens, and he's trying to move on from the disappointment.

Rainbow Dash is there to help him out.

Spike knows that his good friend will always be there for him.

That's all she is, right?
