Equestria has been plunged into a neverending storm of disharmony and nonsense, all by the hand of the entity known as Discord. But the last hope remains in a lonely old unicorn, as he climbs Discord's mountain to fight him, in a desperate attempt to restore the lost harmony.

A short story about how Discord was defeated the first time, written to celebrate Halloween. It comes a bit late, I know, but still I hope you like it.

I had no proofreader for this one, so expect to find grammar mistakes, because English is not my first language. Feel free to correct me at anytime.

Rated Teen for safety, even though I think it's pretty harmless.

Note- The story isn't that dark.

This story was written with my friend, Godzillawolf. After stumbling upon a homeless Trixie, Twilight tries to help her get a new job in Ponyville. However, an unexpected visitor to the town wants to leave Trixie homeless and feeding off scraps. Checker Monarch is set on ruining everything Trixie does, for reasons not yet explained. Trixie must discover new friends and must face this old danger through new eyes.

Distance can drive us apart. It can also bring us closer together.

After all is said and done, and the ponies have gone their separate ways, the only way they have to keep in touch is through letters.

Pinkie Pie has a tummy ache. Fortunately, there's some pony who will take care of her. Not her mother, but close enough.
