Isolated from her friends and taken prisoner in the middle of a war, Twilight must deal with the very real dangers of being percieved as an enemy as well as the nightmares of her arrival on 'Earth'.  Can she overcome her own fears and the fears of her captors?  Will the wayward unicorn's assistance be a boon or a curse to the 'humans?'  Most importantly, will she ever find her way home?

For Meepo, Invoker, Chaos Knight, Queen of Pain and Sand King was just a normal day: get up, kill Zeus, go on with their fight. But when a push turned rowdy get them killed, they don't respawn in the Fountain of the Dire, but in the Everfree Forest, completely cut off from the Dire. Clock's ticking, and they have to get back to their dimension before their boss thinks it's too dangerous to let them prance around ponies instead of fighting and decides to cut their Contract early, effectively ending their lives.

Vaati the Wind Mage has grown bored with the whole villain thing. He's trapped himself in a cycle doomed to repeat itself forever. Seeking a way to escape this miserable cycle of escape, kidnapping, and defeat, the legendary sorcerer inadvertantly teleports himself to another world entirely; a world populated by talking magical ponies who believe friendship is magic. Just how will the former villain survive this sugar bowl of a world? Will he end up learning a few lessons in friendship himself? One thing's for sure, retirement has never been this exciting.

AUTHOR NOTE: This story takes place in an episodic format. That is, it follows the style of the show in that every chapter is an 'episode', hence why they will all be lengthy. Some episodes will be canon ones with Vaati along for the ride, and others will be original where Vaati takes center-stage. The first episode takes place shortly after 'Griffon the Brush-Off'. Rainbow Dash's dad, Blue Streak, has been lonely and sad ever since Firefly passed away. Rainbow has tried her best to cheer him up, but to no avail. After studying old journals written by Star Swirl the Bearded, Twilight discovers a spell that he had used long ago may have interconnected their world with another. While attempting to re-create the same spell Twilight and the rest of the mane six find themselves stuck in the human world, and transformed into human doppelgangers of their previous selves.

As the cast discover about the human world, their popularity in it, and how it is connected to their own world, the must also attempt to find a way to get back home or end up getting stuck *insert Pinkie Pie voice* FOREVER.

Avalaons. A species dedicate to bring balance to the galaxy. They have watched dozens of species rise and forge a place in the stars. When the time was right, they revealed themselves, offering peace and good tidings, exchange technology and ideals, and a betterment of the galaxy as a whole.

A new species was discovered, a satellite found drifting among the stars, bearing messages from a planet called Earth.

They came to Earth to see them, to study their species and watch as they began their steps into the home of stars.

They found none of these.

Only extinction.

And their executioners living on their world, proclaiming it as their own.

After discovering that Cadence is not who she appears to be, Twilight is sent to another world entirely by the disguised Changeling Queen to avoid her plan being disrupted.

When Twilight lands, she discovers that not only have Spike, Owlowiscious and Peewee followed her, but that they've arrived in a world where the main sentient species is human.

There's still a place where they teach magic, though.

Crossover with Harry Potter. Twilight will be effectively taking the role of Hermione.
