Retiring isn't always easy.  Especially when your job title is Evil Overlord.  Most of the time retirement from that particular position comes on the sharp end of an opportunistic hero's sword.  But Damien didn't survive the past six centuries by playing by the rules.  His retirement plans involve running.  Running from his country, his continent, and his very universe to escape Fate's long reach.  And what better place to run to in an attempt to live peacefully than the utopian land of Equestria?

A/N: Finally, the Twilight Sparkle story I've been teasing at so much. Differing from my previous works, this one comes with a different set of 'legs,' you could say. Ha, get it, because you don't really have...legs...hm.

Have you ever woken up somewhere you don't recognize?  I have, once before.  This time was not all that different.  Headache?  Check.  Dry mouth?  Check.  Upset stomach?  Check.  Hooves?  Uhm, that one is new.

Hi, I'm Bruce and I'm 32.  Currently, I'm in a light blue Earth Pony foal's body no one has ever seen before.  The rest of Equestria thinks I'm 9 and something really traumatic happened to me.  It doesn't help I swear like a sailor and I could really go for a smoke right about now.  I just hope that the Everfree Forest, rampaging monstrosities, evil dark abominations against God and the Cutie Mark Crusaders don't kill me before I have just one last drag.

Oh, and ponies are hella creepy when you really think about it.  Geez.

A little comedy side project.  EDIT: HAHA Main project.  More characters to be added if I get that far.  Categories might be refined as I write.  Entire thing is unplanned except vaguely.  Don't Expect excessive cursing to be written out, just hinted at.  Oh, and as the character is a 30-ish year old in the body of a 9 year old, sexual jokes might exists but sex itself will not occur.

After the War of the Ring and the return of peace to Middle-earth, Gandalf the White departs for Equestria to pay a visit to two old friends of his; specifically, two old alicorn friends of his.

What he does not foresee is that Equestria, like its populace, has changed vastly since his previous visit, and as a result he is quite unprepared for what lies ahead. Can the old wizard endure the trials that this new journey will bring to him? Surely, but only if he makes a few more friends along the way.

Not so long ago, Equestria barely defeated two almost unstoppable creatures known as humans, which they called the Second and the First. Almost five years later, another one has shown up. The military takes up arms, the princesses are stricken with fear, and the Elements of Harmony assemble, ready for battle. But 'the Third' has no idea what's going on, and only wants to know how he came to be here, and how to get back home. Good questions indeed...But will he ever get his answers? Synopsis: An ultra-realistic look on the Human in Equestria concept told almost exclusively through the eyes of the ponies. Humans are coming to Equestria and they ain't coming for belly rubs and cupcakes. How do you stop the onslaught of a technologically advanced alien species? Well, you don't, but the ponies will fight anyways and it all begins with a timid, yellow pegasus and a human soldier that doesn't know a lick of salt about the Equestrian language.

Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.

However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

Instead of banishing Nightmare Moon, Celestia successfully separates Luna and the nightmare, and both then seal it in the moon, but the stain of both acts are too much for the Princesses and both perish, but not before giving the prophecy of their return.  1000 years later is a changed Equestria, a splintered government, no advanced school of magic, difficult weather patterns, and a looming threat from the Moon.  Can the reborn Princesses be found in time?  Is friendship still the best hope for a happy tomorrow?  The more things change...
