Darth Vader, once known as Anakin Skywalker, is one of the most despicable forces in the galaxy. Once a powerful and respected Jedi Knight, he betrayed the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order for the dark side of the Force. The newly christened Sith Lord, later to become known as Darth Vader, was apprenticed to Darth Sidious and quickly became a master of the dark side. Vader soon became the scourge of the Jedi, continuing the Great Jedi Purge by slaughtering all remaining Jedi while the Galactic Empire grew in power with Emperor Palpatine ruling the galaxy with an iron fist.

An extension of the Emperor's will, the Dark Lord was constantly on the move, traveling throughout the galaxy to defeat rebel uprisings and kill any last surviving Jedi. This mission brings him to the edge of the Outer Rim into the Unknown Region of the galaxy, in an unknown star system. High above an unnamed planet he duels with one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy in a starship battle. But unfortunately for the Dark Lord, he's shot down, crash landing on the mysterious planet.

With his connections to the Galactic Empire and his master cut off, Vader must find a way off the planet known as Equestria, inhabited by the strange creatures known as ponies. That, or he could take it over.

After a thousand long years, Princess Luna was finally freed from Nightmare Moon and welcomed back to Equestria. But she became Nightmare Moon for a reason, didn't she? What if Luna wanted to take over Equestria even before she succumbed to jealousy?

Princess Celestia, concerned for her sister's upcoming difficulties in adjusting to a new era, convinces her to start writing in a diary to help her keep track of the progress she's made. But what Luna's detailing in these pages isn't simply a story of wacky mishaps as she learns about modern times. It's a record for posterity, intended to educate future generations about how Empress Luna rose from her sister's shadow and benevolently conquered Equestria, eventually leading to its ideal state as a lunar tyranny. Naturally, it's a completely serious endeavor of the utmost importance, and so she secretly writes her efforts to seize the throne and the challenges that stand in her way.

But if there's one thing that hasn't changed over the last millenium, it's the fact that Luna can't recognize a losing battle when she sees one.

Twilight has always loved mysteries. Researching them, dissecting them, and finally, solving them. Almost nothing could compare to the joy she feels when finding an answer to a question no pony knew.

But there are mysteries with answers better left unheard, truths that aren't meant to be known. Now Twilight has solved a mystery with an answer she doesn't want, an answer she can never forget.

((The idea from this story was taken from chapter 12 of Gravitys Rainboom fantastic story: MIA.  I've talked with the author, and he allowed me to write this story, since I feel as though it will be somewhat similar.))

(Humanized) Vincenza Scratch, AkA Vinyl for her friends, AKA DJ-PON3 on stage, 22 years old. The DJ found herself in one of the low periods of her young career, probably the lowest and longest she ever experienced so far; writer's block, out of ideas for a new genre of music as her 'classic' electronica seems to go out of the crowd fashion, less and less attendance to her gigs, etc.
