A long time ago, there were four friends.  Two were ponies from Equestria, but one was an angel from Elysium, and the other was a demon of Tartarus.  None of that mattered to them though, as they grew up, they tried to ignore their destinies, hoping that their friendship would prevail over fate.  Oh how wrong they were.

Rarity now finds herself alone, trapped inside Elysium, forced to fight angels at every checkpoint and see memories of a past she shouldn't have any connection to.  Why is she here?  What do the angels mean mean that "her life isn't hers"?

After saving Equestria, Apple Bloom had to return to her proper age and say good-bye to the stallion she instantly fell in love with.  They promised to be together in ten years, when Apple Bloom is an adult mare.  In the meantime Apple Bloom is forced to return to a normal life as best as she can.

Between protecting her best friend, a stressful relationship with her sister, new unusual ponies moving to Ponyville, changes at the farm, and signs that her journey isn't over yet, Apple Bloom is in for a long ten years.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Fillies and Gentlecolts, I bring you the sequel to Adaptation. I don't know how well it'll go over, but you all seemed to want it, so I figured I'd give it a try.

In this volume, Echo has settled in to her life in Ponyville and has just begun to become accustomed to the strange ways in which ponies behave. While their social norms may be confounding to her, she is satisfied with her life. That is, until Scootaloo comes home from school one day shaken, and Echo finds that not everypony in Ponyville is as understanding and accepting of who she is as she thought they were. What has caused the normally kind ponies in this town to become so suddenly xenophobic?

Twilight and Rainbow Dash, together? Must be that 'opposites attract' thing. Then again, maybe they have more in common than they're letting on...

Epilogue - The next Daring Do book isn't out yet, so Twilight convinces Rainbow to read a romance novel instead. That never works - does it?

Hoofing It - One day, Twilight will learn that reading Daring Do alone won't get Dash to do everything. That day is not today.

Variations on a Theme - How many combinations of Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash can there be? Plenty!

Reluctantly Yours - There's something Rainbow Dash doesn't want to lose, and Twilight refuses to let it go.  Will this be the end of the awesomeness that is Dash?

Closer to Home - Giving up one dream to keep another isn't always a bad trade.

Pinfeathers - Dash was all she ever wanted and all she'll never have. Twilight hasn't lost Rainbow Dash, but someone has.

Big Macintosh is a stallion of few words, but that doesn't mean he's slow or uneducated.  Unknown to any outside the Apple family, he's a wiz at math and finds himself smitten with the one pony who could share his love for numbers, and who just so happens to be the personal student of Princess Celestia; Twilight Sparkle.  With a "gentle" nudge from his persistent sister, Big Mac manages a date with the purple unicorn, but a relationship might turn out to be more work than either one bargained for.

When Octavia meets Vinyl Scratch while at school, she becomes aware of feelings for the unicorn. Feelings that a respected Canterlot mare like herself should not be feeling towards a mare, even if that mare happens to be a fillyfooler. Octavia lives in worry that somepony will discover her secret, but she's more terrified of Vinyl finding out and leaving her for good. Octavia would rather face a life alone than lose Vinyl, which is why she has to tell her never mind.

After Pinkie Pie Suffers a severe head injury, in her forehead is discovered something that an Earth Pony should not have. This gives answers to where she gets her abilities, especially how she seems to be able to defy the laws of physics. This also explains some of her craziness.

How will her friends handle this, and can she learn to better harness the magic within?
