Rarity has fallen hard for the lavender mare from Canterlot, but there is just one problem, that certain mare from Canterlot is completely oblivious to it all. Thus, Rarity does everything in her power to escape the dreaded friend zone, from skywriting to asking Twilight's parents for help. But will it be enough? Probably not. After all, Twilight is rather naive, but a mare's gotta try.

The day after Nightmare Night, Twilight wonders where was Rarity during the celebrations. A visit to her house may provide insightful clues, even if it means enduring a story where, whatever it happens, Twilight can not laugh.

What started as a normal friendly visit ends up taking two ponies on a trip down memory lane that leads them both to realize their friendship began even before Rainbow Dash's first sonic rainboom.

"It's called 'Shh'," said Fluttershy. "It's a game about who can be quiet the longest. Sound fun? I'm the world champion."

Fluttershy is not a pony who makes things up. She really is the world champion of "Shh," or The Quiet Game. And now it's time for her to defend her crown, with Twilight Sparkle and Rarity along for the ride.

During their mission to defeat Discord and save Equestria, Rarity discovers her feelings for a studious lavender mare. When Twilight senses this, she does some research to find a way to make the fashionista admit her emotions.

The title says it all. Must I really need to explain more? I guess I do because it says I have to.

Basically I took the most unbelievably corny and cheesy ideas that I have actually seen in My Little Pony shipping fics and placed them all into a one-shot romance.
