This is my first FIMFic, just a simple and short Twidash shipfic. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

After discovering reading is pretty cool during a hospital stay, Rainbow Dash has a third random encounter with one of the Wonderbolts she doesn't know everything about: Soarin'. A series of comedic adventures leaves him owing her big time yet again, leading to a friendship that turns out to be one heck of a wild ride and a whole lot more.

When Applejack volunteers to take her sister's place in the arena, she knows her odds are slim. District Eight hasn't had a Victor in years, and the only living Victor who can serve as mentor is constantly salt-drunk. Still, Applejack vows to do her best to make it home to her family.

But things get complicated, fast. It turns out that, even amid the horrors of the arena, there's room for friendship to bloom.

And there are forces at work behind the scenes in Equestria, forces that have been waiting centuries for their chance to bring their plans to fruition.

The Elements of Harmony call out for their bearers. Revolution stirs in the hidden corners of the realm.

And six Tributes are about to find themselves caught up in the center of it all.

(A crossover/fusion between MLP:FiM and Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games trilogy.)

There has always been a little voice in Twilight Sparkle's head, whispering dark musings to her. And until her brother's wedding, she has managed to push those bitter thoughts away and focus on the good. She forgives and forgets and holds onto hope.

But when her friends turn their backs on her and her brother cuts her from his life, Twilight finds herself alone, with only the little voice to comfort her.

And it is through anger and hate that has been repressed for so long that Twilight finds the power to rise up. Harmony and Friendship have only brought her pain and suffering. It is time for her to embrace her dark side. No longer will she worry about what others think. Twilight is going to live her life how SHE chooses: without friends, without family, without love and without harmony. She is going to cut loose, have fun, and screw what others think.

For her friends and family, it will soon become apparent that if they don't find a way to mend the damage they've done to the lavender mare...Twilight Sparkle might be lost to them forever.

Thank you to everyone that got this story as one of the Featured Stories here on the site!

    Go by Church

There is a secret being kept from Equestria. Not a single soul is aware of it. There was gossip, yes. Those ponies had been deemed mad. But those who accused the gossipers as such didn't notice the extra weight that was carried by the air. They failed to notice the subtle shifts in the breeze, or the slight change of coloration to their surroundings. Not a single soul saw it coming.

    Well... there was one.

And if she divulges the information accordingly, she might be able to save them. Hell, if she only said the word, everypony could be saved.

    That is... all but one

With the risk of losing Rainbow becoming all the more real, Twilight has to decide which is more important: Risking Rainbow, or Risking Rainbow's dreams

    Author's Notes

I decided to try my hand at writing a shipfic of my own, hoping to step out of my comfort zone. As I've never tried writing romance before, I would really appreciate constructive criticisms on how I may improve :) I hope you enjoy what's more to come for The Force of Dreams!

Princess Celestia has had feelings for her faithful student for some time that go beyond a scholastic admiration. Imagine her sorrowful surprise when she receives a letter from Twilight detailing her foray into the world of romantic relationships, one that takes a sharp down-turn for the worse. It's up to Twilight's long-time mentor and friend to repair the anguish brought upon by a careless and, for all intents and purposes, faceless colt, who was too daft to appreciate somepony the princess would give anything to be with.

(Though tagged "sad", it's not that much. It's certainly a little sarcastic at times, though I wouldn't call it "comedy" per say.)

Years after their show ended, the Warner Siblings are still living in the Warner Studios Water Tower, but causing considerably less havoc due to being distracted by today's modern society. However, when Wakko comes across an actually decent cartoon made for little girls, the Siblings decide that it's time for a move, and to get back to old roots.

Pinkie Pie, in this story, is based on the story The Truth About Pinkie Pie. However, none of the other Mane Six know what she is yet.

Also, the key genre for this story is Random, but only because the only other genres that I'm sure are in it are Comedy and Crossover (the Human tag may be added later).
