Reluctantly, Sweetie Belle agrees to let her manager set her up on a blind date--after all, what's the worst that could happen? When a mishap occurs with Celestia's bathroom scale, an ancient protocol that may just doom Equestria is set into motion.  With the entire palace staff now conspiring against her, the sun goddess must not only contend mountains of paper work, dancing celery sticks, and steroid pumped stallions, but a sister who will take this chance to torture Celestia any way she can as payback for her banishment. The weirdness is only beginning when Dash wakes up in a juniper bush with no memory of the previous night.  Now, Fluttershy won't look at her, Twilight and Rarity keep congratulating her, Tank is nowhere to be found, and Pinkie Pie just kissed her in the middle of the street!  Her last hope to find out what happened rests with Applejack, but she's going to have to get the farm pony to open the door first.

Pinkie Pie explains to Twilight how she, with the help of Rainbow Dash, invented a new type of candy.

It's springtime in Equestria and Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia find themselves out of sorts despite the gorgeous weather. Luna and Rarity both think they know the reason behind their moodiness and set out to make sure that true love blossoms - but will an unfortunate misunderstanding keep the two star-crossed lovers apart forever?
