Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria...

One week ago, Twilight Sparkle was crowned the fourth Princess of Equestria.  Tonight, Ponyville hosts the 1003rd Summer Sun Celebration, and Princess Celestia and Princess Luna want a vacation.  With two fine young princesses like Cadance and Twilight to take over for them, nothing could possibly go wrong.

How could one love another if they could only live by evil? It has been over five-hundred years since the first, and much to her surprise, Chrysalis, queen of the changelings, has given birth to another changeling, the first changeling to have ever been born straight from the queen in such a long time span, yet this one is not like the others. No, this one is much more different. How can a queen who feasts off love care for such a delicate creature?

It's been a year since the changeling invasion of Canterlot, where Twilight Sparkle discovered Fluttershy's true nature.  Since then, the shy pegasus has been more isolated than usual, scared of what may happen if anypony else were to find out what she truly was: a changeling raised by ponies since she was a foal.

After much poking and prodding from Twilight, she decides that she'll tell the other element of harmony bearers all at once.  When her friends all arrive, and Fluttershy reveals her true form, the two find themselves under attack by their friends.  Fluttershy and Twilight escape at the last moment, not entirely sure what just happened, and find themselves in a forest that neither pony recognizes, with no way of getting home that they can see.

They are totally alone.  And totally lost.

Direct Sequel to Right.  I'm not sure how well this reads on its own.

Canterlot... For centuries, Canterlot was the shining gem of Equestria, the pinnacle of pony society. Now, it’s a reminder, a bleak and monolithic warning to the world. 

Changed by the chemical and technological poisons that plague the mountain, an abomination of nature, I wander the greatest disaster Equestria has ever seen. 

... I will escape eventually, and when I do, I hope my friends still see me as Twilight Sparkle, and not the monster that hides among the ruins. 

Recovering from her banishment, Queen Chrysalis plans her revenge on Twilight and those who foiled their efforts in invading Equestria. However an unexpected horror comes to life in Canterlot when Celestia realises she was cursed, and is consequently transforming into what may be the greatest evil Equestria has ever known.

Unable to contact Cadance, Shining Armour or her friends in Ponyville, Twilight and Luna must race against time to save Canterlot from the new Changeling threat, and reverse the Changeling curse that was placed on Celestia before she turns into the very evil she is trying to protect her subjects from.

Is there any hope for Celestia?
