Holding in emotions is never good. Keep them buried for too long, and eventually they burst out at the wrong time. Both Rarity and Rainbow Dash have a secret they have been hiding from their friends, specifically from a certain shy, animal-loving pegasus mare. They've finally decided to come clean, but neither of them counted on the other revealing the truth, much less at the same time.

Now Fluttershy is stuck with an impossible choice between her two best friends. Can she choose one without risking her friendship with the other?

Rarity has discovered the internet and has decided to regale the birth of her new relationship.

The heart is a fickle mistress indeed.  Rarity is well aware of this, but is still surprised to find her heart has chosen Applejack for her latest infatuation.  What surprises Rarity even more is that she discovers through Pinkie Pie that Applejack has long had a crush on her.

The simple thing to do would be to confront Applejack and explore their feelings in a frank and honest fashion...but that isn't the fun way, not for Rarity.  After setting a wager with Rainbow Dash, Rarity seeks to wriggle a confession out of Applejack herself.  How she goes about doing this is what turns an innocent courtship into a hilarious ordeal.

RANDOM and COMEDY are the keywords here.  The story is most likely going to go off into bizarre territory (this is Rarity's memoir after all), so don't be thrown off by all the breaks in narrative and asides: they are intentional.

Contains RariJack (duh), FlutterDash, AppleDash, and any other ship I feel deserves the spotlight.

Rarity moves to Canterlot to pursue more clients for her business, leaving Sweetie Belle in charge of Carousel Boutique. When Rarity arrives, she is generously offered a stay at Canterlot Castle free of charge, courtesy of Princess Celestia. Is the keeper of the sun simply being generous to one of the Elements, or does she have an ulterior motive for the marshmallow unicorn?

With the help of her friends and a newly-discovered book, Twilight sets out to expose the author of this crime and teach them a lesson in proper grammar. And maybe, just maybe, she'll learn a thing or two about romance along the way.

Ever since she had gone into the ancient castle in the Everfree Forest, Twilight has been suffering from these strange, vivid nightmares about a young filly. Since these dreams began, she has been bed ridden and Spike has been helping her through it. After one extremely terrible night, Spike sends a letter to Princess Celestia begging for assistance. What he learns and what he experiences from that moment on will forever change his perspective on life, death, and the true nature of magic.

Being Twilight Sparkle is hard enough already. But being Twilight Sparkle while helplessly in love with a certain pink party pony, no matter how infuriatingly unexplainable, incredibly talkative, nonsensical, and anti-scientific she is?

Well, there has to be some way to cope with the cruel, yet kind mistress that is love. And there's only one way to do it:

Staggered poetry.

A whole bunch of one-hit poems and single encounters, meant to be everything from 'I want to cry myself to death' to 'I am going to explode from cuteness', more of the latter. None of these are connected in the least, unless specified straight-out.

After watching another majestic night, Twilight is told to make a wish because wishing on a star always grants wishes. She refuses. After all, it's only an old pony's tale. Climbing into bed, she has a strange dream, yet little does she know, dreams are the desires and wishes of the heart.  Upon her waking, she may just find that the stars are rather lenient in their rules and methods.
