I decided that I wanted to make a sequel to my original fic and so here it is! (Way ahead of schedule)

It can be read alone, but is better with background from the Mixer Chronicles.

I know a lot of people wanted to see the battle in chapter five, so that's why this is coming out before I finish the Mixer Chronicles, though I will be stingy with how fast I release chapters.

Twilight had always been a diligent researcher. She would routinely pour over every book she had at her disposal in preparation for every royal assignment. Except, sometimes books can only teach one so much. With this heretical idea in mind, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash decide to take it upon themselves to make sure Twilight keeps her wings clean, and doesn't embarrass herself in the sky.

Long forgotten at the top of the world an ancient prison rests beneath the ice and snow. Built for one purpose, it has held a force of nightmare at bay for over a thousand years.
