... Yeah, this is that story.  The story where a guy goes to a party and wakes up in Ponyville.  That guy (I know him as 'me') seems to have landed in his own personal little heaven.  Hell, I even brought me a pack of endless cigarettes.  How does that not kick all kinds of flank?

Out of unnamed circumstance, a strange pony has arrived into Equestria with no memory of his former self. When discovered by the Elements of Harmony, will they aid him in re-obtaining his memory or will they teach him more about friendship for him to start a new life? Hi, my name is Ember. I used to be a human, but after meeting this freaky woman, I'm in Equestria, and I was even transformed into a dragon. Sounds Cool right? It. Sucks. Equestria is just like Earth, and I want to go home. It's not much fun living in a world with technicolored ponies, especially when you have to deal with tons of prejudice. Now I have to find a way home, deal with ponies that think I'm going to eat them, and even deal with dragons that want to eat ME. What the hell have I gotten into?

Lark Wolfe is 25 years old and he has a terrible fate. Bitten by a werewolf, he now spends his life traveling from town to town as a bard, trying to find a way to cure himself. Something happens, he finds himself in Equestria, and then more things happen. There is going be to a lot of music in this, as he IS a traveling violinist. I'll put hotlinks in the story to whatever he's playing. Also, Lark speaks with a very slight British accent. it's most entertaining to read if you think that way.

A small tip. Always know exactly what your getting into before letting strangers send you on an extraterrestrial journey. Being in Equestria does not actually mean IN Equestria. Nor does it mean you'll be a pony. Or human. Or even something from the show. And it definitely does not mean everything is sunshine and rainbows.

This place is a cat and mouse world. Luckily, I have one huge advantage.

I always wanted to go to Equestria.  When I got the chance, I took the deal without reading the fine print.  To my surprise, I didn't arrive there as a pony, or even as a human.  It seems I get to view this world from a different perspective than what I've imagined.

Sup, the name's Mark. Or was Mark, anyway that's not to important anymore. Just know that while I lived on Earth, I was constantly under pressure to follow the rules and fit a mold that didn't fit well with me. My life was constantly controlled by a system I despised.  

Well since getting sucker punched into Equestria by a goddess those days are over. Being the one and only Winged Wolf in the known world is a huge help to being able to make my own rules. I'm finally free to do what I want, when I want, and how I want and that's exactly what I'm planning on doing.

Set in the same universe as The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog and Griffin the Griffin.

I did get permission from both Rust and BlackWing to use the same setting as their characters. Go read both of their stories. They're awesome. Reading them is what made me want to write this story in the first place, so if you liked this, you'll fall in love with those stories.  

Added the Dark tag just in case. There will be a decent amount of violence later on. Will add character tags as they become important to the story.

I'm Griffin, not much else to it. I've been bullied most of my life, which left me bitter and sarcastic. I'm a closet brony. What? You think I'm just gonna go out and tell a world that hates me that I watch a cartoon intended for little girls? I don't feel like giving the punks at school any more ammo. That's when cosmic powers decide I need to take a trip to my favorite fantasy land. But all is not sunshine and rainbows and it certainly won't be after I'm done with it. Equestria from the point of view of an extremely pissed off teenager, with a twist. Rust, the author of 'The Ballad of Echo the Diamond dog' is awesomesauce enough to have a cross over between our stories. Carnelian is a boss when it comes to art.
