Bobby is a lighting designer for the Pony Variety Show! He lives in the attic of the Equestrian Theatre, and loves working on the show. But when the production team of the PVS decide that everypony needs a break from doing the shows, he's left to himself in the theatre. His job now is to make sure that nothing goes wrong during the break. But with bronies pounding at the front doors, how long can he last?

Princess Celestia will at last get a taste of Twilight Sparkle. No, not in that way! The whole Elemental Harmony Squad is involved... no, still not in that way!

Popsicles will be prominently involved... and again, not in a naughty way. The only naughty pony here is Luna.

This is a direct sequel to my previous fic "The Quandary of DisQord" and is, of course, a Star Trek: The Next Generation / Friendship is Magic crossover.  This time, however, Q has decided to bring the crew of the Enterprise-D along for the ride as well.

This is a much lighter story than "Quandary" was (since "Quandary" was the story of Discord's reign prior to his first defeat, it was bound to be a bit on the dark side).  Also, be warned, though I tried to keep them to a minimum, there are still a few references to and spoilers for "Quandary" in this fic here, so I'd obviously recommend reading that one first before reading this one.  Though, at the same time, this one is hopefully self-contained enough that you wouldn't necessarily have to read "Quandary" first in order to understand anything, if you don't care to.

Also beware, there is a bit of very mild one-sided shipping between one of the ponies and one of the humans, but nothing super serious or squicky or anything like that.  And the Discord/Celestia ship from "Quandary" is touched upon again, of course.  Just thought I'd mention it here, in case someone might be turned off by that sort of thing.

As with "Quandary," extensive (and spoiler-filled) Author's Notes can be found after the end of the final chapter.

This fan fiction is a crossover based in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the film Pilgrim’s Progress: Journey to Heaven. Just like the movie, this story will stand by Christianity core beliefs. If you are offended by them I suggest you to find something else to read.

Celestia and Luna were born as unassuming foals in troubled times. But already marked for greatness, the simple earth ponies stand to face a world set against them, full of danger, fear, and sadness. A world they will change forever.

A sweeping epic taking place before Equestria was made, where Celestia and Luna must rise from normal foals to become the Princesses we know them as, beset from all sides by monsters, other ponies, and even the forces that govern nature. Their tale is as tragic as it is triumphant.
