Then, sometimes, she's full of militant squirrels piloting her in a war with the Chipmunk Confederacy over a sacred acorn.

Lyra and Bon Bon, aka the masked superheroes Harpflank and Sweets, have been entertaining young foals with their stories of action and courage on television. But once a season, the network produces a special episode to teach valuable life lessons to impressionable young foals.

A very special episode, with a narrator who is determined to make their emotional breakthroughs as touching and personal as possible.

Whether they want it or not.

Twilight is confronted with a terrifying proposition, one that seeks to rattle the very core of rational thought. She can rest assured that socks work orally, but what if, what if, what if, what if ...

They didn't.

Also, someone seems to be stealing her milk.

If only Spike weren't gone, but he is. He's gone.

When a debt-collection company sends a representative to collect on Lyra's parents' debts, they don't care that her parents have been missing for years - the debt is legally hers. If she can't pay up, she'll lose her house.

In order to pay the debt, Lyra devises a plan that simply can not fail - she'll convert her home into an item shop and sell her way to riches! Surely Bon Bon will help, too. What could possibly go wrong?

Princess Twilight Sparkle is tired of being a stunningly attractive spinster, so she decides to ask out the pony of her desires (whom she decides is Applejack). As is par for the course, things don't go exactly as planned, but Twilight learns valuable lessons about magic and friendship in the process.

Celestia wants Twilight and her friends to loosen up a little bit around her. Luna just wants to try the hard cider. During a surprise visit to Sweet Apple Acres at the tail end of cider season, Princess Luna has just a bit too much to drink, and when she makes a rather inappropriate joke, Twilight comes to the very uncomfortable realization that she has never seen Celestia excuse herself to use the restroom.

A filly forced to mature before her time, Scootaloo finds many challenges that a pony her age should never have to face alone. She discovers fear, loneliness, sorrow, happiness, and even love in places she never thought possible. Through her diary, her young life is unveiled.
